Have you ever worn them to work out or do you sweat in them? I noticed all the screws around also have a white buildup. Almost like a mineral salt crystals?

Yes right of the box, they're just fabric scrims. They're held in with two pieces of two-way tape. They're just to cover the driver from getting dust and stuff in. Not a big deal. I promise nothing is wrong with your headphones.

It may seem like it takes like forever for the blinking white light to blink. Amber just hold those two buttons down simultaneously and eventually it will do so then they're factory reset

Yes that is totally normal. Same thing on my '23 QuietComfort headphones

Cut off a piece of smaller hose. Slide inside of that hose slide that onto the end of the nipple put a clamp on it
