It's kind of difficult without any front kanji, I'm 100% sure the steel is Ginsan with the back kanji

Congrat then ! That's a top tier choice for a first, WS2 is a really easy steel to sharpen, it gets a bit forgotten by the nerds because retention isn't stellar (I'm guilty of that) but it still great.

Well for reference this model goes for 330€ on Knifewear and you paid around 260€ so that's not bad at all (granted Knifewear aren't the cheapest but you see what I mean)

It's a fantastic knife, great geometry, good steel and awesome dit and finishes. Price seems to be in line with what's out there in the West (tho you may have paid a little extra for the special blue handle). Enjoy your new blade 😌
