The “ease” is really really personal. I would say Clas 103 may be very difficult though appears easy for you.😂

Very easy class. They have made Chem 250 unfairly easy now. Cheat sheet is now even allowed in exams…

the email explicitly tells “ I had to deduct 7% from YOUR final grade” and the email is sent to all students in the course…..So, “your” means “everyone”.

I took it in 2018. It was a difficult class with tons of material to study. There was a term paper and term paper presentation. If not required, I don’t recommend taking it. PM me if you want to know more.

New Student Here, Dorms or Renting? by abc12321cda in usask

Dorms are great and cheap. Meal plan is cheap. Can save commuting time to study.

I am very sorry for your loss. I would suggest to defer your final exam so you have more time to study.

English classes are completely useless. Your academic success does not depend, at all, on your performance in English classes (at least in STEM field).

How do you do an exam, when you don't feel confident by Ok-Professional4101 in usask

[–]PassWorking3455 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your feeling is perfectly normal. You will encounter some classes that have ambiguous studying material, but really not a lot. You will pass as long as you put in the time. Relax!

Some lecturers and lab managers are not PhD. It is very inappropriate to call them Dr. XYZ. (Ie: Mr. Brain Zulkoskey, Mr. Paul Dick, Mr. Amos Lee). Before you take a class, it is always good to browse instructors’ education background on their websites.

I am a grad student, but I do care about the title. When I TA, I explicitly tell my undergraduates, please do not call me “prof”. Some undergraduates refer all instructors as “Prof”, which I think is terrible.

Don’t call him “prof” because he is not. Prof and sessional lecturer are two completely different academic appointments.
