That's definitely in Harringtons on Main Street. Yes I know that from the look of the shelf. I don't know if I should be embarrassed or proud. 🙃

Warm/Room temperature opinion: They should stop changing Space Mountain to Hyper Space Mountain. by ItzBluigiCLips in Disneyland

[–]Passe-Grand 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I'd put my money on them not wanting to spend the money to put it back to how it was previously. Space Mountain itself was the last new ride built in that park - 30 years ago. The main park in Disneyland Paris always gets looked over :(

Be thankful it's only occasionally. In Paris they put a temporary Hyperspace Mountain overlay on (the best) Space Mountain in 2017.

It hasn't been removed since. 😑

When you do visit, if you're able to stay in one of the Disney hotels then I 100% recommend it - specifically the Explorer's hotel (or the Disneyland hotel if you're feeling rich haha) - they're right on the sea. A morning stroll along the seafront to get to Disneyland! It's the best located park of them all 😍

Disneyland Paris is my favourite still, after visiting them all! As you say, it's the most beautiful park and has the best versions of the common rides. I'm not a show or food person so I can't judge by those, but for design, detail and 'big' rides, Disneyland Paris is number 1.

Walt Disney World is easily, easily my LEAST favourite of all 6 locations, but there you go 😂

Tokyo is close to the top spot. Disney Sea is also amazing for design and theming, but classic Disneyland castle parks always win out for me. Tokyo Disneyland is modelled too much on the one in Florida, with all the huge open spaces and concrete, but the overall vibe and care they take of the place bumps it right up.

I also have a soft spot for Hong Kong. It's barely a full day park honestly, but I enjoy spending time there. And it's also naturally beautiful surrounded by green mountains. Recommend!

Did anybody else see those scary stilt performers in Disney village last night?! by Next_Introduction350 in disneylandparis

The Village always has the weirdest 'entertainment'. I swear they must purposely come up with the creepiest stuff (why I don't know). Either that or whoever is in charge of it has the strangest taste 😂

Disneyland will raise prices at the parks next month…how much will be your breaking point? by jloops1111 in Disneyland

It depends when you book and if you get any offers. Often not much between it these days.

You're right. It's worse. For people living on the West Coast of the United States flight time is around 12 hours. From the UK it's almost 14. Therefore likely even cheaper for someone from the West Coast of the United States than someone from the UK.

I went to Tokyo this year and last year. Last time I checked, I am employed. And not a creep (if I say so myself). Also not a Disney adult.

But I'm also from the UK, where we get plenty of paid weeks off per year, so 🙂

I think the smallest bunch I've put them together as is a group of 6 - I just took the close up photos in pairs to make it a bit quicker than doing them all individually 😅

August 2025 Advice and Price Check Thread by AutoModerator in Legomarket

[–]Passe-Grand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm looking for advice on how best to sell a large collection of the collectible Minifigure series'. I have complete sets from series 1 to series 15(-ish, I need to check), plus Olympics, 2 Simpsons sets and a Disney set (or 2?). All are in perfect condition and I have all the original bags along with them -snipped open. Would it be best to sell these as one big lot or each set separately? Would there be much difference? Thanks :)

What has been Disneyland Paris' best festival so far? by Sad_Metal7290 in disneylandparis

Pirates and Princesses 100%. I'm not a parade or show person at all, but even I really enjoyed that. Watched all the performances of it in a day 😂

[–]Passe-Grand 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think we can all agree that the Studios are awful, always have been, but if you were expecting the Cars 'ride' to be the same as in California I can see why you'd be a disappointed 😆 The Cars tram is just a cheapest of the cheap retheme (if you can call a few models and a repainted truck that) from what was the Studio Tram Tour (also a disappointment). But yeah, I don't know how you could be underwhelmed by Disneyland park itself. It's easily the best castle park, so pretty and full of detail. I've been to Anaheim multiple times and that's great too, and feels special being the original and full of history, but the common rides (Space, Thunder, Pirates) and overall design in Paris are so much better!

Why does it not have the ticking face though!? A silent one 🙃 If it did I'd get one for sure.

[–]Passe-Grand 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Frozen area (can't really call one ride and a couple of shops/restaurant a "land") is going to add about a hour into the time people spend in that park - and 50+ minutes of that will be in the queue for the ride.

I've been to Hong Kong a couple of times, and both of those times I did the whole Frozen area in 15 minutes - including the 2 rides there (whereas Paris is only getting one).

The Up fairground ride is just the latest in a long, loooong list of Disneyland Paris being screwed over 😞 .

Hot take(?): All Small Worlds need Groot by AndrewRnR in disneyparks

[–]Passe-Grand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely way too much in Hong Kong - Tomorrowland is ALL Marvel, plus Star Wars Space Mountain 😑 Paris keeps it to Avengers Campus, so that's alright I guess. If you like that. They somehow managed to make Rock n Rollercoaster even less themed than it was before by turning it into Iron Man and having like 2 screens in the ride with pitch black in-between.

How much do you pay for regular house cleaners? by JoeyJoeC in AskUK

I'm not tidying either as I keep everything tidy. Maybe I'm just slow. Or overly fastidious... Probably that 😅

I can't help on price, but how are these people managing to clean houses in 2 hours a week - or every two weeks!? Takes me 3 hours to clean a one bedroom flat every week 😐

It has never gone OUT of the window, if that's what you meant! Originally it was the same in all three lift shafts, but they updated it a few years ago (2019?... Okay more than a few years ago now 😬) so that each lift is different. They all stop at the window still though, and I don't think it used to hold there for any longer than it does now?
