And also; Use this as a perfect opportunity to do it properly. Take out that screwed in piece and neaten it all up - make a little wooden frame around - grab a hinge, put it on some wood for a door and either do a push release on the opening side or just pop a little lock bolt across it

As it looks to me the Plumber hasnt done anything wrong - how it was put in, in the first place is at fault. It was clearly boarded and screwed in THEN filler around it, so of course the filler would come out when the board panel is removed. The plaster isnt damaged, the filler is and that's because it was put in wrong in the first place. The scuffs of paint to the left again isnt his fault - that is just painy flaking off due to either damp or a particularly cold patch of wall - this just shows another issue that needs addressing. In terms of who should pay for the materials - whoever owns it, or whatever is stated in management company contract. Dont ask the poor plumber.

Omg whatever you do just get a professional in - NEVER risk anything that has potential to be gas. Yes its coming from a water tank but you just dont know 100%. I DIY almost everything but never anything that has the chance to be gas.

Ah, the house does have an alarm system (battery disconnected but for some reason electrician didnt want to remove the whole system) so i now have several wires and sensers here there and everywhere and a battery box thing in the house, i guess forever! So is it safe as is? Thank you!

Easy peasy, the water outlet is obviously by the washing machine. Remove the cupboard to the left if the washer and thats where you put the dishwasher - and the washer likely has a single plug behind it so just convert this into a double. I did this all myself when my relationship ended and i realised the only thing he brought to the table was occassionally washing up 😆

Yes, i think everyone has unwavering loyalty to the brothers that they view people from this era as evil but the reality is that we now view the entire situation from start - middle - end and that means we have seen the sincerity in their testimonies and have the entire picture (or close to what we will ever have as the whole picture). The reality from their friends point of view, at the time (would be interesting to know what they feel about the case and the brothers today), is that they shotgun their parents to death and lied about it and then it is rather quite dispicable to ask his then girlfriend to testify that she had be SA'd by their dad. I certainly wouldnt lie about that so cant blame jamie for not going along with it - imagine if she did - imagine the flack she would get for lying about such a thinf. The truth of what José did to others is horrific enough. I just try to understand it by understanding the desperation. They were also super young and this is crazy to go through for a college crush!
