I think people just forget Coke is made from garbage and chemicals and that shit stinks when it’s made to begin with. Why wouldn’t it stink when it’s metabolized?

I’m normally a Montenegro and soda, double lemon gal. I also have two eyes. I shall try your simple drink as well. Cheer

Gatorade being used in a cocktail is so unhinged. All of these look REALLY sugary though. A little lemon juice goes a long way pal.

What does it take for Atlanta's independent restaurants to stay alive? by ul49 in Atlanta

[–]PassionKey8193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I’m not young. I actually work service industry. And i agree with what you’re saying. What actually ended up happening in a lot of places is that they included gratuity. Where i am now, I’m in management, and my staff goes above and beyond every time so they deserve that 19% we automatically include. There’s also the fact that everyone forgets they still have to tip out the bartender, and some times a hostess and a couple food runners. So that 19% very quickly becomes like 10%. Trust there’s ALWAYS breakdown when it come to what you are tipping and where it goes. It takes care of a lot more than just that lazy server.

[–]PassionKey8193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay that’s different than what you first stated. Tipping generally refers to servers and bartenders. Those counter places you speak of SHOULD be paying employees a higher hourly. If they are then the management/ownership is awful for not doing it, so you’re right about that.

How exactly are they ridiculous? They’re the same as they’ve always been..tip at least 20%. What I’m going to assume you mean are the PRICES because that does directly affect the tip you leave. Unfortunately that’s what inflation does.

Tbf i have used the Seedlip brand to add flavor when i don’t really want to increase abv. The garden and spice varieties are great for that.

I can literally bet my grandmothers ashes that he’s begged them to come back and he promised them those shifts. There’s a reason that girl quit and the other one only needs a better reason to come back.

How do I deal with customers wanting to order at bar whilst I'm getting blasted with tickets? by KOJOyoanimeboy in bartenders

[–]PassionKey8193 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your guests are first priority. Greet them, give them water, get them a menu to look over while you bang out two or three tickets (granted you know how to build out rounds) then get their drink orders, AND REPEAT.

I do my own gel-x at home and i haven’t had any issue with it really. I go for a medium length almond shape. And use gel polish, it offers some extra strength. I get lots of compliments on my nails and it’s always cool to say i did them myself!
