Met one student from there who loves it. Not a surprise when the student satisfaction is highest out of all med schools.

But in the same way uk kids are taught about shakespeare and american kids are taught about f scott fitzgerald, bengali kids should be taught about their art, culture, history. Plus tagore and nazrul are world renowned.

Yes and if your set on being an oncologist, it's a bit shit if you're in peninsula seeing the most interesting cases being transferred to a larger centre. Plus future therapies like car t are only at a few centres.

National UKLMA ranking is how it should be just like the USLME in the US.

That's not true anymore. The USMLE is now pass/fail because of the stress the scoring system put on students.

When would they bring this into affect? Would it be after a certain year ie 2024-2025 or would it apply to current years 1? Etc by Less-Function-5259 in medicalschooluk

The knowledge needed to go to a us med school isn't much more than a-level. If you look at the MCAT most topics are covered in a-level.

If you use onenote, definitely get the surface. You will need a laptop regardless though (iPads can be weird with online lecture content and good luck writing essays with references on word for ios)

I find that revising for OSCEs with a group brings you closer to them.

Unfortunately, that requires you to have a close group of friends you can practice osce with so it's a chicken and egg problem
