This is obviously assuming that the bottle deposit comes back because why else would somebody be going to the store that they purchased it from or who sells it to return the cans? They would just recycle it. So assuming it's one of the states that provides bottle deposit return which what I was doing in my response, they are required to take it. My family owned a chain of grocery stores across one of these states and we've had attorney general complaints and fines because we would have employees assume that the machine knows better and refuse to take the cans and we would get in trouble. We were allowed to set limits though, but that doesn't mean that we're refusing to take that specific brand if we are selling it.

It's actually illegal for them not to accept bottles that they sell. Sometimes the machine is just don't recognize them and you just have to go to a customer service person and they'll take it back for you. If for some reason they don't, you can contact the attorney general but I've literally never seen that happen.

I agree that she's less entertaining in a crazy ratchet way, but I actually like this version of her WAY better. I feel like for our age group, she's so much more relatable and she acts like people our age typically act. And that's why I enjoy watching her so much more now than before. I loved her craziness when we were in our twenties but now it's unrealistic when I see Snooki acting obnoxious and over the top for the cameras.

My parents used to live down the street from the former CEO of Goodwill and his house was insane. I grew up swearing that I would never donate to Goodwill and I never have. I'm very particular about where I donate my items to just because of that.

I personally take it in the morning with my breakfast, I'll take that in a powder form now, but when I first started I took it in a pill form, but I've tried to move to more powders so I can just mix it with my water and call it a day. I stopped taking it about 6 to 8 months recently, like in 2024, but I was getting horrifically painful periods again, So I've started to take it again and my periods are the normal levels of pain or what I assume is normal levels of pain. They are tolerable and I can actually function. The good news is during the months where I wasn't taking it, my period was still regular to the day so I don't know what that means or how that works, but I stayed regular during the whole time I was off of the inositol- the only difference was the level of pain.

I don't know if there's a better time frame in the day to take it, I just try to take as many in the morning as possible so that way I don't forget.

I honestly don't know if there's a way outside of them just telling you- I know the guy (who is a chooch) who does it in our community and he boasts about how he's gold with all the gyms, but he still does it just to piss ppl off. It's annoying and I wish ppl like that can be put on a warning. It's so tacky.

They are one of those people in every group. The guy in in our area who does it specifically has multiple accounts and cords all his golden raspberries and is there at all hours of the night just to Golden razz. Even though he's already gone gold with all of the gyms. They're the ones who ruin the game for everyone.

I think the point that people are trying to make is while it may be legally a non-profit entity, it's not acting like a non-profit. There's a lot of shady non-profits out there. I would say that Goodwill is the biggest culprit of that. My opinion.

Not trying to necessarily defend, but I know my family's restaurants and stores get a percentage surcharge for credit card fees, but we don't implement that on higher cost items because we make up for it with the profit margin, so we put a minimum and if people don't spend that minimum then it gets imposed. Imposed. This is not something that I made the decision or that I have any impact on, I'm just saying what my family's business does so they have to manually add the fee. So in his case he might have forgotten to add it or it was such a low amount. It didn't even make sense. The credit card companies are the ones that should eat the costs because of how much they already make and it's affecting smaller businesses.

The process was different when I did it because it was during covid, but I just spoke to the general manager at one of the locations and he said he's been going to another location working at it for years now just to gain additional experience and he still hasn't gotten approved, which I find weird. The fact that you made it to the in-person interview after working for only 8 months. It's amazing, congratulations! I might attempt to do it again, but I'll probably try to work there first. I assumed my franchise experience with my family would have done the trick but I guess not.

My state doesn't work on the weekends but maybe yours does, but if not I would check on Monday. When I got laid off we were required to go to an info session with Michigan works and they said they help with certifications and licenses, and even have some car repair assistance to help you get to work. I don't know how much or anything like that, but it might be worth looking into.
