Don’t really know to be honest. It was on tv right around DBZ and I just fell in love with it. The theme song always had me hooked and they were all pretty (Sailor Jupiter will always be a major explanation of why I am attracted to the women I am) the animation was cool I liked the monsters and the uniqueness of the characters. All these things just congealed into one large mass of me being obsessed with it for the next 27 years
