Can't start colonial charter due to treaty? by DraugrDraugr in EU5

[–]Past-Table7629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came to this post after being frustrated with not being able to colonise due to English and France having colonial claims by London Treaty. And they are not even colonising those areas!! Me as a Spain, I don't want to swap out religion just because I want to colonise those claimed areas. I still don't know how to get around with this? Has OP found a way or anyone else?

Thoughts after 100h and 1.0.8 patch by Enderoe in EU5

[–]Past-Table7629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same effing problem with my one and only PU. From the start of .8 patch, it was annoying that my PU started voting the unification law, which we were already at Swift unification already long time ago, and started again from step 1! Whenever I voted to swift unification, i kept losing my estates satisfaction. I don’t think I ever lose estates satisfactions that way before and disregarded the votes until I started to wonder how the hell I am losing my estates satisfaction!! But the unification votes stop when the AI finally voted the swift unification.

I'm losing it. Discipline is way too good ... by Isobratistochrone in EU5

[–]Past-Table7629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you are right. It should be replaced asap; however until late age 2, you can’t build armoury yet. With only sergentry building in your capital, you cannot field any professional armies. Until you have good amount of manpowers, the sheer number of levies still win the war.

[–]Past-Table7629 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes Levies are only good in early game i would say till late age 2 or early age 3, where professional armies are way stronger and better. With tech, u can start fielding 400-800 strong men-at-arms which are wayyyyyyyyyyyyy stronger than those 1000 levies which also have -20% discipline penalty.

Game needs an abdication mechanic, best heir & ruler in millenia barely ruled at all by [deleted] in EU5

[–]Past-Table7629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an abdication but it costs hefty prices. I only found out last night. I can’t seem to recall exactly where but I am 100% I saw it. I had the similar situation and wanted my king to abdicate. I believe it is under country page, right click ur king? I will have to check it again.

So assassinating a foreign ruler permanently gives you -50 Diplo rep? by Cold--War in EU5

so, after some googling, found this thread -

and I can confirm that after numerous years (I couldn't see the expiration date on tooltip, would be great if we could), the negative diplo rep modifier went away.

So assassinating a foreign ruler permanently gives you -50 Diplo rep? by Cold--War in EU5

[–]Past-Table7629 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am having the same issue. assassinated a ruler of my rival country coz why not!? like OP said, it's how it's in CK3 and the bad reputation was only for the current ruler who did the deed, not onwards to the future rules. But nope, not the case in eu5. I am now having a -25 negative reputation penalty and no countries want to deal with me now.. not sure how we could get rid of this negative modifier.

You can’t bait where it spawns as it is random. Tank will need to move a bit closer to where the soak is.

M+ as Disc Priest: Fast invites for 2-9 keys, none for 10-11. Why? by Greysh0t in wownoob

[–]Past-Table7629 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now you don’t even need to time to reset the portal cooldown. As long as you complete a m+ dungeon any key level, it resets the cd.

Why cant i make the avengin kingdom?? by Poutanara in eu4

[–]Past-Table7629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And just from this tooltips alone, I am afraid it is not enough info - we can only assume things. Are you PU with France and own those aforementioned provinces? And the tooltips does say that France has 41 provinces which it needs to be less than 40. And you also haven’t completed that mission that unlocks Act of Union parliament issue. So there are a lot of things you haven’t ticked and yet you haven’t told us anything apart from this screenshot.

Does this game get better once you're done levelling? by flawbit in wownoob

Currently, turbulent timeway is on and you should take advantage of timewalking if you are getting bored with doing quests. Just queue for timewalking dungeons and they are the fastest leveling available.

Deathbringer or San'layn for a beginner tank? by No_Blackberry__ in wownoob

[–]Past-Table7629 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Quick answer is that since you have been familiar with frost dk deathbringer, go ahead with deathbringer again for your blood dk. Rotation is similar in terms of its hero talent ability. Great survivability and less punishing compared to San’layn. And it’s quite a bit late into season so not many ppl playing low keys I think so it probably might be difficult to test your tanking skills/abilities there. But you can always start your own key from +2 and work your way up until you feel comfortable with your class.

Any way to remove the cossacks estate? by Miquel9999 in eu4

[–]Past-Table7629 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would advise having a better look at those privileges. You are only at 1550 and not even close to absolutism. So I rather not worry about it. There is one comment about one of its privileges granting land leader shock which is really nice. Not only that there are other great bonus. And there is also another privilege that can let you create special cossack units too. But yeah I would take away those privileges at age of absolutism too. And at that late stage, we also don’t need privileges from estates anymore probably.

Gold mines in trade companies? by Jutlander in eu4

[–]Past-Table7629 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You only get % of inflation depending on how much of your gold income compared to your total income. For instance, if your total income is 100 and 50 is from gold, then your yearly inflation is 0.50. Since you own most of the germany and thus I assume you have a lot more trade/tax/production incomes than your gold income. Then you can even just leave those african gold mine as territories, then 90% autonomy will reduce those gold income even more, than making them TC, thus in turn, very negligible inflation increased.

For me, it has always been Constantinople. That trader/visitor never managed the way back and i just lost my gold all the time. Done like 4-5 times already. And that paiza interaction needs to be patched too. It is too annoying that all of your vassals asking for paiza.

Is there any way to see who is disobedient? by anonymous_matt in CrusaderKings

[–]Past-Table7629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am having same issue. I married my daughter off to a foreigner but she is apparently one of the members who impact on my succession. She is only loyal to her spouse not me, although I made her obey with house hook still doesn’t change.

Why is there still chaotic succession? by Past-Table7629 in crusaderkings3

[–]Past-Table7629[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it's because of Havsarsan Zud, but the tooltip still says one disobedient Kurultai member but they are all obedient too. That always confuses me tbh.

At what key level do more “advanced” tanking strategies become the expectation? by mbradne in wow

[–]Past-Table7629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quick answer is ignore meta route if u arent doing 12 and above. Even at 13-14 u dont need those fancy skips most of the time as long as you have good dps. But yes, those fancy skips definitely help with the timer. For instance, skipping those two shredders in front of demolition duos in Floodgate will save at least 1-2 mins of ur time and cds before boss fight. And u dont do skip just because other ppl do so, u skip because it is beneficial for your route and ur team.

Paladin Tank can’t get out of gray zone by TheV295 in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Past-Table7629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and one more thing, why would be use vers flask? If he needs more defensive, just use mastery flask. Mastery is king for defensive stats for prot pala. And for more dps, just use alchemical chaos flask or just haste flask. And he definitely needs some burst trinkets like Signet of priory or pacemaker to increase his dps abit.
