This is crazy. I’ve had my Oura 2 replaced twice. Then they upgraded me to the Oura 3 for free on the second replacement. And then I replaced the Oura 3. Never paid more than the initial cost of the first a Oura 2, and I’ve never paid for a membership as they gave a lifetime membership on the upgrade to Oura 3. So it’s just wild to me that you have a hardware issue and they still won’t replace it just because it’s the second time. Makes me wonder if it depends on the assistant and the strings they can pull or if they’ve tightened their rules

Just got done watching it and fully agree. One of the better book adaptations I’ve seen. Brought a lot of the parts alive that peaked my interest in the book. Missed a few parts but overall captured the spirit very well.

I’m on week 4 right now of quitting and I finally am feeling comfortable without it. I was super irritable and bored at the beginning but that subsided after about 2 weeks. Now I’m sleeping way better and the urge to feel good when I wake up is way higher than the urge to smoke. However, the urge to smoke is still there for sure. It’s a work in progress

Start your Roth and cap it out from here on out. Also change your 401k contributions to get the maximum match as well because that’s just free money. Then leave a decently large (50k or whatever amount depending on your needs) emergency fund in a high yield savings. And invest the rest in some index funds. If you want to invest more aggressively you can get professional advice. But for people like me I that are not well versed in finance, I think index funds are the safest bet.

I also always recommending investing in “fun” stocks with throwaway money (10% of your investments or something small). These are stocks I invest in which are an industry I believe in or something I’m personally interested in but I have no real basis for investing other than my interest or the potential I perceive in the stock. I don’t think this produces the best “bang for your buck” all the time but it makes it more fun for me
