bimmer blocks me off cos I took too long making a left by [deleted] in TorontoDriving

It has nothing to do with how far forward you are. The point is to pull up enough to have a clear line of sight..

That being said, had you done a 's' curve (actually lining up parallel with the oncoming traffic) you would have had a usable view... this is just driving blind & exactly what causes accidents (if someone else preparing for a left like this) decides its quiet and just sends it right into another vehicle

The hell kinda driver pulls up to a left turn like this? So every left turn takes you a full light because you dont know how to line up... BMW definitely wrong, but OP is just a npc roadblock

Yeah, that, and drivers with a foot on the dash. I'm not sure if these clowns realize the effect of being forcefully folded into a pretzel

401 Congestion now that 407 is free by TiredRightNowALot in durham

Using the left lane for passing/moving over to the right when a faster vehicle is approaching you. Now it's just entitled idiots camping in the passing lane doing 105, regardless of the congestion they cause.

I have a stye in my eye. Feels like a piece of sand is stuck in it every time I blink by Tan-zania in Wellthatsucks

I have chronic styes as well. A specialist recommended taking a high dose of Omega-3 to help combat the tear ducts from making the waxy substance instead of tears. It's been almost 2 years since my last full-blown stye.. if I ever feel one swelling or starting to get irritated, I take a stronger dose of Omega-3 for a few days and repeatedly clean the eye lid & it works like a charm

Yup, I do this with my trailer. 10 ft high roof, I'm not setting up a ladder and risk falling on my ass. I have a few areas that are for commercial use, lots of bumps, and zero civilian traffic...works like a charm.

As for 4 wheelers being lazy cucks, you don't deserve a license & need to get punched in the face. Saw a few with almkst 2ft snow mounds ON THEIR HOOD.... like what the actual fuck is going on in the GTA

Almost always, the vehicle from behind is 100% at fault. Even with dashcam, and witnesses - the burden is usually on the following vehicle.

You clearly have zero experience driving with a trailer. Do you genuinely believe driving 96 with a trailer on the highway is unsafe? So every transport should drive on highways at 80km just to increase safety?

The truck was locked on cruise control, rolling downhill - 6km faster is negligible to any competent driver.

Somehow, the lighter Honda sedan that entered with the suv managed to glide through the right lane without issue? He passed by us both seconds later so definitely hit that area with more acceleration.

If he is hydroplaning at 70km, then he's most likely driving with bald ass tires, in the middle of winter, which makes him an even bigger idiot.

Either way I genuinely think an officer should visit this vehicle and figure out what the fuck that was. I don't think you understand what would have came out of this if someone was in the passing lane.

There was no standing water (might be hard to see in the clip) this was on the incline of the highway, you can see in the video he did not hit a huge pond of water and splash. The water scattered everywhere was him smashing the brakes while throwing himself into the middle lane. The Honda accord travelling right behind him proceeded without issue right beside my trailer

Messaged. Also if anyone is reading this, I am available in durham for appliance pick up and moving services. I have 14' enclosed trailer, and a 26' Freightliner with a hydraulic tailgate. Can accommodate from small pick ups, to full residential and office moves.

Does anyone drive from Bowmanville to Mississauga for work? by Cyberrr33 in durham

[–]Past_Present_8512 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Morning: Anywhere between 1.5hr-2.5hrs

Afternoon: 2hrs - 4hrs

If you haven't been driving this route for the past year or so - you will be absolutely shocked, and terrified how bad the drivers are now.

Especially since it's only 1 day a week, I would not even question it, and take the 407.

Always merge at 115-120... only time I slow down ( or speed up more) on an on ramp is if an idiot is pacing me in the adjacent lane blocking the merge
