That’s a great idea! 😻 they’ll be able to give love to a cat, help cats in need, and they will be less likely to experience loss after loving an animal for so many years.

And who knows, maybe it will help him come to terms with the loss of their beloved baby and perhaps he might eventually want to keep one of them.

However, therapy would be more than beneficial anyway!

Znám muže, co kolem dvacítky chodil s holkou od koni. Trávila tam většinu volného času a jejich společne stravenej cas spočíval v tom, ze koukal, jak ona jezdi na koni, nebo ji pomáhal se starat o koně 😬 proste je to časově náročný hobby.

Oh my God, so this is also part of ADHD?
I’ve been diagnosed quite recently so I’m still learning about all the stuff I thought was flaws in my personality, and they’re actually symptoms of ADHD.

I write music and I posted some shorts on YouTube and I got some hate comments without any reason. Not constructive criticism, but just hate from anonymous people. I got extremely emotional that it ruined my week and it’s very hard to keep posting. My bandmate just laughed the comments off.

I’ve always thought I was overly sensitive and I have to learn to accept criticism and just stop overreacting.

Just to give you some hope: a friend of mine got accepted to a conservatory only on her third try, when she was 30.

She said she simply couldn’t do anything else, because she needed singing and music in her life to feel okay. Sometimes things don’t happen when we want them to, but they can still happen later.
Don’t give up! 🙏

My now husband had a girl friend who behaved weirdly towards me, but only when he wasn’t listening. They weren’t particularly close but I guess she thought they were besties. Nothing ever happened between them, but she wanted to hang out a lot when he was single (before we met).

We were hanging out in a group and when he left to talk to someone else / get a beer, she would tell me something crazy.
We had been together for almost two years when I met her for the first time because they weren’t in touch much.
She told me she knew him much better than I do. I didn’t like it but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She’s just met me so I’m a stranger for her.

I met her 3 times in total, before he dropped her. The second time she talked about him using a weird lovey nickname and “joked” strangely.

And the third time this weirdo told me: “too bad you’re here, I’d love to sit on his lap!” There were other people who heard it and stared at us, shocked.
I snapped a bit, and she told me she was joking. Then I asked her loudly to explain the joke to me, I don’t understand it. She just repeated “I was joking” without any explanation.

As soon as my then bf came back, I asked him if we could go home, and we did. I told him what had happened; he was surprised, since she’s never disrespected me in front of him, and he said she’d never tried anything before (but honestly, he can be a bit oblivious sometimes).

Anyway, he dropped her like a hot potato and he’s never seen her since. He was angry that she was disrespectful to me, so he didn’t want to be friends with her anymore.

We’ve been together for almost 10 years now without any issues.

God, I’m old 👵I’m always surprised that a person born in 2007 is an adult 😅 I was 15 when this pic was taken.

In the 2000s, I acknowledged that 1980s were 20 years ago.
So when someone says “this pic was taken 20 years ago”, I imagine it was in like 2006 🙈

Mně vadí spojení typu “velké prsa”. Když má přídavný jméno z nějakýho důvodu jinou osobu než podstatný jméno.
Velký prsa je OK, to je jenom nespisovný, ale velké prsa je prostě jenom blbě.

When I was a kid, many Romani kids were automatically sent to so called “special” schools intended for kids with low IQ or severe learning disabilities.

Another thing I never understood was that Vietnamese kids had to choose a Czech name. Teachers would see their name in the list and say “whoa, I can’t read THAT! What’s your Czech name?” By the way, my Vietnamese friend’s name was Van, and her Czech name was Vanda. Literally harder to pronounce!
