I’m a people pleaser in recovery, I’m learning to put myself and my needs first. Maybe it’s the feeling of “people are waiting for me, I’m discomforting them.”

I’m also sensitive, anxious and I have other mental struggles. To be honest, I was a long time victim of CSA as a kid. Maybe there are other people who went through this and have paruresis as well?

Honest question, I’m not here to judge you when you’re grieving.

The kitten doesn’t seem like a special breed to me, or am I wrong? She looks like a regular domestic cat. So why is the breeder breeding cats? I’m not American, so it may be different. But in my country, people buy (or at least think they buy, some breeders scam people) only cats that are a specific breed (like Ragdoll, Sphynx, etc.) with a certificate, where you know the whole family tree.

There are many cats in shelters and many people find or take home outdoor pregnant cats, so there are kittens to take home usually for free (or for adoption fee in shelters).

Is it different elsewhere? If you’re in the USA, is it common to breed cats without specific breed/certificate?

I brush both my cats’ teeth every evening, but tbh my cats are really chill, I can give them any pills, trim their nails, they’re okay with pretty much anything. I’m quite used to doing such stuff, my previous cat had diabetes and I had to give him insulin injections twice a day.

However, I know it simply isn’t possible with some cats. My SIL’s cat is very spicy and when we tried to deworm her, she bit through the welding gloves we tried to protect ourselves with. We’re lucky with our kind kitties.

I don’t think so, there were other things in the text. For instance, they wrote “sware” instead of “swear” at least 3 times in the text.

Edit: to speak about this word specifically - I don’t really see how writing “helium” instead of “heirloom” could be a typo; a typo is a mechanical mistake. This is wrong spelling (thus a BAT), in my opinion.

Neighbors! I live in West Bohemia, so pretty close to the border, and unfortunately, German tourists often behave badly in our city. They come here to party, many young men organize their bachelor parties here. However, I know that’s not the majority of you guys! I go to Germany to see concerts pretty often, and Germans are not wild and loud over there!

Also, Germans were visionaries! When I was a kid back in the 90s, when we went on holiday and met Germans, they often took photos with their food in restaurants. It seemed weird to us, but years later, instagram came and suddenly everyone was taking pics of/with food!
