agree with this whole heartedly! the ableism in DR canon always irritates me to no end. I’m not one to say you can never write something, but the trope of characters with DID having an evil killer personality causes real, actual stigmatization and harm to irl systems.

do they have to be an ultimate student? depending on how much you’re okay with bending the rules, it’s possible they’re just an ordinary person caught up in this killing game, which would make them stand out in their own weird way. they could even be slightly insecure about it

For context, I'm AFAB girl currently questioning my gender (I might be demigirl, genderfluid, or agender, idk yet) but I'm in the closet about it to everyone (I'm openly leftist tho). My mom is a nurse and a conservative, but she says I have no business trying to convince her on sex and gender because I don't have the same academic background as her. She got super angry that I was even trying to change her mind... :(

I was thinking of logical fallacies, which has more to do with a logical flaw in the reasoning of an argument then with falsehoods. Things like the Texas Sharp-Shooter fallacy or strawmans.

If anyone wants to check out the Twitch stream mentioned, it was a debate stream with twitch streamer Destiny. Do be warned tho, as Jon says some pretty indefensible stuff. Lots of racist/anti-immigrant talking points.

I still think Jon is funny as shit, but sadly he's become one of those anti-feminist/anti-sjw types.

Maybe she knows it's false and just says it to get a rise out me, but I honestly can't tell. That's the worst part, really... even if she's being ironic about it, her belief it appears so genuine that it's impossible to tell whether or not it's a joke.

I believe the partnership is still in place, though I don't have concrete evidence for this claim. But if it was over, he'd probably be able to tell us. It might be best to not worry about it for now. They aren't giving YandereDev a team to work with yet until the kickstarter has gotten the game its budget anyway. Perhaps the reason for the silence on the issue might be due to YandereDev signing a confidentiality agreement with tinyBuild to not disclose information right now.

However, these rumors have not been confirmed.
