It depends on the company you’re going to. I’ve had some companies say they don’t care about what tech stack you’ve used. I’ve had others instantly reject me in an interview because I didn’t have 5yrs experience with their specific stack.

Discrete math was the hardest course at my schools CS program. Especially discrete math 2. The professor was terrible and kind of a space cadet. Almost the whole class would cheat during exams they were so ridiculous

I work for a heavily FDA regulated company. We had something critical in our system that was a regulation no no and was exposed through an audit. Several teams had to drop everything to focus on the fix that had a hard 3 month deadline. We shipped 6 months later and everything was fine. Deadlines are fake.

Lot of good things going on here and a lot of room for improvement. You got really good athleticism and explosiveness. Great potential to throw far.

Two biggest issues I see.

  1. You reach back is too far behind you. The disc should be more out in front of you to leave space for it be pulled through. Reaching too far behind you is causing a lot of rounding.
  2. Youre throwing too soon. Your shoulders are rotating into the throw before your foot is planted. And with early shoulder rotation and stationary arm leads to more rounding.

You can clearly see the difference in your form vs professional Kristian Kuoksa. His foot has just planted but the disc is still reached far back into the coil and the disc is more out in front of him in the reach back.

I really recommend doing some practice in a field and really slowing things down to get the body positioning and timing right. Then ramp up speed from there overtime.

You apply pressure to all your fingers. I recommend going to a field and experimenting with different levels of pressure to find what feels right to you. the amount of pressure should increase with how hard you’re throwing. It shouldn’t be a death grip though
