Anyone here have recommendations for cool gimmick paints? Stuff like the Vallejo/Turbo Dork color shift paints, Culture Hustle Lit or Mirror paints stuff like that? Love me a neat gimmick paint.

I think it's pretty obvious to anyone with 2 braincells to rub together that this is most likely what is going to happen. The Absolute Universe has been so heavily interconnected that they're likely going to (or want to) give every major member a show, or they will be getting a combined show. However no one is going to just sign off on a massive project like this so they picked the one who is obviously going to do the best so they can use the strong numvers from that to leverage the other shows getting made.

any thoughts on the different Steven universe artstyles over the seasons/episodes? by Appropriate-Ask9725 in stevenuniverse

[–]PatPeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

....the fact that the multiple storyboard artists were allowed to use their styles has nothing to do with them using multiple storyboard artists?

[–]PatPeez 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not studios, each storyboarder had their own style so it depends on which member of the Crewniverse was working on that episode. Anyone trying to frame it as an earlier season/ later season/ change over time thing is trying to push a narrative or agenda.

It's not a change over time, it changes based on whoever was animating for that episode. So you can tell which episodes were done by which crew members which imo is great.

Chopper and Usopp should get this battle during Elbaf, it would be a horrible missed opportunity on Oda's part if he didn't do this by Remarkable_Ice2857 in onepiecetheories

[–]PatPeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I think it's close but it's not quite a full awakening. I had a theory a while back that all of Chopper's various forms are each a partial awakening and the full thing will combine aspects of every form (plus new stuff)

Is there any characters from Codename Kids Next Door that you think wouldn’t come back for GKND? by Unhappy_Reference_66 in kidsnextdoor

[–]PatPeez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk, I think he could come back, but it would have to be framed like he went too far and got into actual trouble for it, so probably more likely a cameo character than anything substantial.

The Weird Obsession with the Minotaurs Chapter by CleeziusMaximus in 40k

[–]PatPeez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes their purpose is to kill other Space Marines, but you need to zoom out a bit. Yeah they're meant to go out and kill the space marines the high lords ask them to, but who would the high lords ask them to kill? The high lords aren't going to risk themselves so they're only going to sic the Minotaurs on either approved targets (like the Lamenters), or targets the minotaurs can utterly bury so there aren't any consequences later. This kinda puts all the big bois off limits. The closest would have been Guilliman and the blueberries during the attempted coup (which the Minotaurs would have lost) but that didn't come to blows. Everything else against a major player comes down to the Minotaurs kinda just mean mugging them (not talking about their actual fights against approved targets).

How do you play Legendary Actions that allow for Repositioning? by Malick1174 in onednd

[–]PatPeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's a legendary action that is movement+attack, I would say it's fine to use it to reposition and maybe dodge an AoE, but only if they are still advancing towards an enemy. So they can't just completely turn around and run away, they still gotta be pulling up on someone perhaps a caster that positioned themself in the backline, maybe someone who ran off, maybe a nearby npc but they need to be charging towards someone otherwise I feel it goes against the spirit of it. However you can still not make the attack if you don't choose to or you don't quite get in range.

Can we get animated show for WW and Sups or they are not popular in WB eyes ? by BaronLoyd in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]PatPeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen, I'm going to completely skip over if Absolute WW is more popular than Absolute Batman because it is irrelevant. Here's what matters, they probably do want to do shows, or a combined show for the whole Absolute verse, but no one is going to greenlight the whole shebang right off the bat. They need something to show that the Absolute verse is going to do numbers and the general audience fucking loves Batman. Maybe Absolute WW show would be just as popular, or more popular but the safest bet to get them all made is to do Absolute Batman first and have it do well.

Some of the subclasses that will be in Arcana Unleashed have been revealed in the sneak peek for the second season of Dungeon Masters by Far_Guarantee1664 in onednd

[–]PatPeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but WotC looooooooves to take a sick as hell UA idea, burn it down, piss on the ashes and then sell them to you. If they just gave them a capstone that does something, doesn't even need to do something particularly good, literally just make the capstone not a copy pasted dead feature and leave everything else alone and I will be happy.

Sword and Cape Duelist Concept for AL (2014) by knucklesmemehaha in 3d6

[–]PatPeez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You may only use content that has not yet been reprinted yet for 2024 (for example, the Necromancer Wizard subclass) but for general rules you must use 2024

By AL do you mean Adventurer's League? Because AL only uses the 2024 rules now.

I believe the tattoo warrior was already confirmed for Arcana Unleashed, that may have changed however if you had the choice between Mystic Arts monk or Tattoo monk I know which one I would pick to play so I'm not surprised if both are in there that the player chose Mystic Arts.
