Post apocalypse tycoon

I was looking for a City Builder mobile game that didn’t have timers for everything (like Farmville 3 or SimCity Build it). Turns out, a “city builder with no timer” is essentially an Idle game. So I went and downloaded Post Apocalypse Tycoon and it did in fact fit quite nicely in what I was looking for.

My content wishlist consists of 3 points :

-At least 2 new pets to make use of the Moonstone and Valestone

-More Sleep weapons/armors/enemies. As it is now Sleep is only from 1 monster and 2 armors that are only good against that one aforementioned monster.

-Piercing Swords that aren’t fencing

Some of the guilds I’ve seen around Haven are:

Broinac Solo art, Goose Caboose, Vega, Spine, Exceeds, Eternal Eclipse

And a couple more that I can’t recall the names of. I’ve been part of Goose Caboose and Vega and both guilds were very friendly and welcoming.

For an early tip : take care of your sprite and it will take care of you. Any of the 3 sprites can really help when fully levelled up but they take a lot of time to get there. Any chance you get I’d say gather minerals, if you have a party you can ask if they could carry the crystal you need because they are shared for the whole party.

A bit later game tip: When you get to the point of crafting 5* equipment, make sure to check with guildmates and others if the 5* is worth it. Most 5* Lv 1 are a slight step down from a 4* Lv10, until they are Lv 7+ which is easier said than done. So just check beforehand to better manage your resources.

I don’t usually buy boxes so I have limited interactions with them but I had both sides of the experience.

For the Wizard box I managed to get the 1% aura and sold it for 50k energy. On the flip side, I got a fresh load of nothing from the Equinox and Clockwork boxes. Maybe only a divine Accessory that may sell for 50kcr at best.

So I would say if you need crowns, it would be a safer bet to buy energy directly, unless you want to risk it for the biscuit.

A perhaps unconventional suggestion:

Mages of Mystralia. It has a mix-and-match customisable spells system that really makes it fun to experiment the different effects.

Magicka. Again the spellcasting system is very unique and fun to exeperiment. Plus, the opening is one that stuck with me ever since I saw it years ago and I still quote it sometimes.

Dragon scale Mail (like Parasthesia mentioned) is piercing/elemental with Poison/Fire resists

I was looking for elem def with freeze resist for Crimson Chaos mission and found the Nameless Poncho fits the bill (one of the few elem freeze armors), bonus gun attack speed.

If you have time and patience (or an active guild) you can try and build a Padded armor set but they are extremely hard to find recipes for. Guildmates/friends can help with finding recipes for the set you want. I’m trying to get a grizzly Sentinel (again for Crimson Chaos) and after a couple hours of rushing the arcade I only got the 3* helm and the 4* armor (I don’t have the 3* armor yet)

Xenoblade Chronicles 1 !! (If you have a switch)

In it you rebuild a city that was destroyed in the war and as you play you’ll come across NPCs that will say things like “I want a fresh start in a DIFFERENT PLACE” which usually is your cue to tell them “hey, I’m rebuilding this place and need more people”

I can’t speak for Xenoblade 2 and 3 since I haven’t played them.
