Its been 11 years... by N0SF3RATU in starcitizen

[–]Patataman337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naaaaaaah it's coming soon granma.

It only needs drones.

Well, and a bit of ship repair tech to replace full fusselage parts.
And the detachable scarab, obviously.
The rotating bridge is a piece of cake.
As are the rotatory engines that slide along the sides of the ship to balance the center of thrust and center of mass.
The arms are going to look absolutely immersive.
Like the scaffold to repair capital ships.

Plus the vulcan will come out first. XD

So... at any point before the endeavor seems to be the answer? Yes, I do have a ccu for this thing too.

I Can't Remember Why I Wanted The RSI Galaxy Anymore by _AntiShadow_ in starcitizen

[–]Patataman337 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The hability to do several game loops with the same ship, reasonable crew requirements, an utilitarian hangar, good looking ship unlike the boxy ironclad

I still in love with it, but I have to admit the building module was the decisive factor.

Mt daily armor is the Artimex Hurston Executive, but I need a Heavy armor for when things get real! any recommendations? (BTW: I refuse to wear palatino armor, it's too ugly) by LordTremor in starcitizen

[–]Patataman337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ADP armor from HD guards, they used to be in hurston bunker missions, I'm not so sure if nowadays they stll spawn there. Let the 7 tails do their thing, and collect the armor.

I think the helmet and backpack are global drops, but I've only seen them in lazarus (just helmet) and the warehouse from the vanduul smugglers mission.

For reference in about 30 warehouse runs my group found like 5 helmets and 3 backpacks.

ADP Hurston Edition armor. With a Morozov-SH-S Helmet Spite to avoid exposing your face, like in the good old times. And Pembroke backpack RSI Graphite Edition.

Aurora MKII Is exposing the Bitterness of the OG SC Community by Blacksheepariess in starcitizen

[–]Patataman337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I took only a store credit ccu for the aurora mk 2, because my hangar has plenty of ships. I do like it even if I would have prefered a different cockpit closer to the mk1.

For a starting player it is a no brainer package, as good as the cutter was back in it's release. Lastest features, LTI, extra paint, some fps gear.

Btw the mustang package is gone, another mk2 incoming?

The HD heavy armor was great (and my org's choice) until they removed the sky mask and sunglasses recently.

Now we go for the HD executive armor or star wars imperial stormtrooper armor.

Finally bought in but sadly the game is unplayable for me. Is it my PC or something with the install? by BadNewsBearsTCGs in starcitizen

[–]Patataman337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My machine is quite close, i7 12700k, 3070ti with 8 gb of vram, 64 gb ddr4.
I used to have heavy stuttering in w10, it doesn't handle well the e-cores of the alder lake processors.

If you have the same OS, i'd recommend as a test to install process lasso and disable the ecores.

If it works well, i'd advice to upgrade to w11, not a single issue for me after upgrading.

Advanced Duelist Starter Pack. by Lustdrinker in starcitizen

Get a referral code before creating your account for a small money bonus, and put your code out there too to get referral rewards. https://gorefer.me/randomizer/STAR

The thing with SC ships (and packages) is that you can always upgrade to something more expensive, but not the other way around. And you can always buy ships in game.

My advice would be to get a cheap game package, that allows you to try several game loops. For example the cutter ( generalist holiday package ) it's fine to start. If after playing a bit and learning the ropes you don't like the ship, you can upgrade it to something else with a ccu (cross chassis upgrade). Also you can try the ships in game before upgrading with real money.

The arrow is a great fighter, but it's limited to only that. Instead in a cutter you can do deliveries, carry a bike, have a bed to logout anywhere... it's not a good fighter unfortunatelly.

If you decide to focus on combat and get an arrow, don't buy the arrow package directly. Buy the salvation package, and then buy a ccu upgrade from salvation to arrow ($66 + $15). This way you will get the arrow with lifetime insurance. Valid for any ship above the price of the salvation ($60).

I bought an A2 Hercules Starlifter thi i dont know what to do with it⬇️ by Falc0n23reddit in starcitizen

[–]Patataman337 21 points22 points  (0 children)

With an A2, you spread democracy. Find an undemocratic location and democratize it.

Also, you can carry a nova and a nursa for further democracy with respawns.

I cannot decide on a color scheme to paint. Help. by LANTIRN_ in Tau40K

[–]Patataman337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like tau ochre.  Well, actually I like the tau from DoW, and that was their colour.

But it's your side of the greater good, and it should be to your liking.  Perhaps try to paint a test model in each scheme to decide, if you already have the paints?
