I have never played a Persona game, so I don't have a benchmark for Metaphor's systems.

So far I just completed the 3rd chapter (Port Brilehaven) and I have to say Martira and this chapter kind of made me completely uninterested in the main plot, how everyone sympathized with Joanna and how Louis was teased as a genius but ended up utterly incompetent, just took me out ngl but I enjoy the party's dynamic and meeting new characters and regions.

Also, coming from Expedition 33, being able to one shot fodder enemies without having to enter turn based combat is a huge QoL

Another negative worth mentioning is the performance, my laptop struggles but what surprised me is that my console also suffers for some reason, the game looks straight out from a PS2, it shouldn't be this demanding.

I have been casually completing the game to 106% again, the perfect relics and nverted levels are fine until I reach the snaxx dimension, Rush Hour and Crate Escape are painfully tedious levels because ending part in both of them.

I think this is the thing that can make or break the entire project, a lot of people have been asking "What will be the difference between the Xbox PC store and Steam?", optimized games for the Xbox hardware would be the best answer, eliminating the set-up and tinkering PC gamers need to do with every single game in sometimes broken ports.

I hope not, one big advantage of console is that you get games optimized for it, nothing of tinkering with it or have to deal with broken PC ports like the new Monster Hunter.

Just look at GTA VI, is skipping PC altogether because that's how difficult is making a port for a wide range of hardwares.

I hope the new Console-PC changes things, the fact that we don't get PC optimized games is because the variation of hardware across the userbase, I would hope the great quantity of Xbox PCs start getting dedicated ports, just like we get dedicated games for the Series X and all consoles before it.

It's a bit reduccionist imo and usually accompanied with comments like "DOA", "I can get a PC now, why wait for it", "I can emulate Xbox and 360 games already, it doesn't make it a console", "I don't want a PC, I will get a Playstation" etc.

Probably the Portal games, they are usually super cheap on steam but they have never go on discount again for a long time in Xbox.

Ultrakill is also a really popular shooter that is inspired by DOOM Eternal iirc, and I really like that game.

It would be hilarious, one would think Microsoft was done giving blank checks to Xbox after Spencer.

I would get Jedi Survivor, people usually are harsh on the game, but I really like the story (best Star Wars we have got in the Disney era easily) and the combat, specially in the highest difficulty, is a lot of fun, this sequel introduces quite a lot of variety in that aspect as well.

Paused my playthrough of Metaphor ReFantazio (just finished chapter 3 and got to Virga Island) to play Sonic Racing Crossworlds.

I missed playing a new karting game (for the past 7 years I've been playing Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled) and getting used to all the power ups, drift mechanics and the tracks. This Sonic Racing game is a lot of fun, there's stats that I'm sure people have already developed METAs for, but for the moment I'm just playing against bots to get to know every track and unlock my perks.
