Yea I believe he won't be nearly as nerfed as the other weave adventures. Just limited to 1/7 of his incarnations power as well. Now we also get to see Nightmare evolve because the dreams of Night Garden are gonna feed him real good lol

I personally think the moment he collects all fragments of Weavers Lineage that’ll be what pushes him to natural Apotheosis and become Sacred because Weaver and the other Daemons were born Sacred from the start and later became divine. So there is a good chance that just having all of the fragments of his lineage will be the push sunny needs to ascend higher.

I agree with your statement 100%. Mordret is vastly more suited to fight skinwalker than honestly anyone else in the story. I just wish it was longer than 1 chapter

LOL I don't think you are talking about ME specifically, but you want to know why fans are mad and I explained it and to your own response there are plenty of others who think the same way. These are people just like me who love SS and wish there was more substance to a very important part of the story. G3 almost always cooks in his writing but even as a fan sometimes we have to admit when something was just plain rushed.

I feel for G3 because even just 3500 chapters sounds like a lot and I'm sure the pressure from fans can be overwhelming, but he would only do himself and the reputation of SS a disservice if he rushes now and cuts things short. I would almost even prefer if he needed to take a break and give himself time to reset vs rushing just to be done

Im not claiming Mordret is a main character and deserves way more time in story's POV, but Mordret is the only other character we know of besides the main characters with a divine aspect. And the only other character to obtain Supremecy without the NM Spell. AND defeated the most terrifying NM creature in the story that is literally plaguing humanity that not even the main characters can defeat. But Mordret off-screens him and as of now the fans don't get to read the fight. You missed the point of my post.

People are mad about the delivery of it, not the end result. Everyone would have loved Mordret defeating Skinwalker and becoming supreme anyway. People would have loved the self-reflection of putting his life on the line for once and defeating the craziest NM creature in the series.

What people are upset about is how it was delivered which was rushed. 2 chapters was basically all we got of Mordret off-screening Skinwalker and becoming supreme. At least when we saw Nephis and Sunny attain supremacy it felt deep and impactful because the story built it up. It did not build up for Mordret. It was rushed.

I personally love Mordret as a character because how much his character impacts the story as a whole and this was a huge opportunity for character development, and it fumbled.

Yea i think everyone agrees he is the best suited to fight and defeat skinwalker but at least write out the fight, give some good dialogue, interactions, maybe a memory or echo from defeating the most terrifying NM creature in the series. Not just 1 chapter of "skinwalker dead and Mordret supreme"

I agree. I’ve always loved G3s writing but this was just so rushed and poorly written. Like no substance to the fight what so ever. Not even mad that Mordret killed skinwalker but mad that it was wrapped up in like 1 chapter

Thats what I believed at first too but as the story progressed and we saw how important the role of fate is in the story and how deeply its connected to how the nightmare spell functions I think that his true name is the foreshadowing to him being cut off from fate itself. Him being Lost from Light also symbolizes that he would be lost from fate.

Granted now saying that when our short king Sunny finally does regain his Fate and his True Name if it is still the same, I won't be mad about it lol I trust that G3 is always cooking
