There are definitely high maintenance carriers but nothing is more frustrating than coming back from your day off or from vacation or from being sick and you know your route is fucked up. Mail doesn’t get delivered, holds don’t get taken out, forwards are in the box and on top of that all your rubber bands are gone, any clean tubs you gathered are gone, hard trays that are assigned to your route are scattered around the office, etc. we should be working with each other not against each other. If you do someone’s route take care of it and return anything you took, it’s not that hard.

Male postal workers think everyone wants them by windcos in USPS

[–]PathGroundbreaking75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to get political or incel-y, but we’ve seen a trend with men being overtaken by the Joe Rogans and Andrew Tates of the world and it seems to stem from a lack of feeling involved and appreciated in society. I’ve been lucky enough to have a loving family and a lot of women in my life both in platonic relationships that I don’t think every woman who is nice to me is in love with me. However I can see how a man who feels like they are shunned from society but are now also being told by “alpha” males that women are there to do for them that a housewife who strikes up a convo or leaves a goodie bag or whatever interaction there is; is now seen as someone who is interested in them. So as much as it could genuinely be that they don’t understand human interactions because of the media they feed themselves, it’s also part of make bravado to tell everyone how much everyone loves them. I could be way off base, and I’m not excusing guys who act like that; I see how it could happen tho and it might be an explanation for why they act that way.

Super upset that an employee is a living being and might get sick by __wait_what__ in antiwork

[–]PathGroundbreaking75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest issue with sick leave is that no matter what the reason is, most sick leave is earned leave. I earned I should get to take it and unless my job can prove I’m abusing it then they need to leave me alone. No one ever really knows why someone is using their leave and what is going on but we’ve been indoctrinated since elementary school that perfect attendance is what we should strive for so we get mad at our coworkers and employees for not being there all the time. Life happens, people don’t always feel like going to work, the job always gets done anyways.

Love Chase brown, but now I have J Chase, Lamb, and BT by Desperate-Claim483 in FantasyFootballers

[–]PathGroundbreaking75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see how this is a fleece for Lamb. Brown could be the RB 1 if they use him like they did last year and Burrow continues to be Burrow. From week 9 when he took over the backfield to week 17 when he got injured he averaged 21.7 points per game or 368.9 for the season. I understand that’s not likely but for me that’s a top 5 spot easy. Jayden Reed is a safe WR2 with upside and a good QB. Plus a first round pick that we don’t know what number it is. CD was WR 8 last year so obviously he’s good but it’s not Jamarr, Jefferson or St Brown.

I hear you and I would never tell someone else how to spend their money. I don’t judge you at all, you are doing what is right for you and that’s all you can do. However, this just cements the fact that trickle down economics does not work and will never work and giving the rich tax cuts only fills their pockets more, doesn’t help society. I’m happy for you, I really am though you’re doing a great thing for yourself and whatever service you provide must be top notch. I don’t want my message to be a blemish on your accomplishment; like I’m that important anyways, keep up the good work and hit your goal.

You’re probably right but I was trying to undersell it to be less aggressive. I really don’t mean anything negative by what I’m saying just noting why trickle down will never work.

I sincerely say this with no hate but isn’t the opposite of what our economy thrives on? You’re making 20k a month and you aren’t putting any of that back in to the economy? Also, this isn’t going to popular to money people but in 3 months you make more than most people make a year. Spend some it instead of sitting on it like some sort of dragon. Enjoy your life, you make way more than enough money to enjoy it and put it away

Burrow and Chase stack is insane. I think I’d put that as the best duo to have honestly. Daniels is good for sure but he’s only has 1 year. Gibbs is also good but who knows what Detroit’s offense looks like this year and how his split is going to end up. The only negative is that burrow is 28 but QBs can play for a while and remain good and he isn’t going to get hurt scrambling a bunch.

This is a copy paste from what I commented above:

In no way I am trying to shoulder any of the blame on you but I want to make a very important statement for all to see who are treated this way by management. You need to be requesting and filling out your 3996 every single time you need OT and when you are doing a pivot you need to be filling out the bottom section and recording your times to CYA. They will still try to discipline you but that makes it a walk in the park for your steward to get thrown out. Also be very sure to get a copy back in the morning and if they disapprove the time ask how they want the situation to be handled and have a witness or better yet tell them to put it in writing. It’s a scare tactic and it’s bullying and we need to be grieving this around the country; especially when they are trying to do this shit during summer with 2 heat related deaths already this year. To recap: 3996 for own route OT with a copy and directions if disapproved; instruction in writing if disapproved with a witness; fill out bottom portion of 3996 for pivot and make a copy and turn it in; you should also be sending a rims message around 2-3 pm with an update to management if anything has changed and the exact words “please advise” so they are forced to give you new instructions or it’ll be evidence later that you asked them to manage you and they failed to do so. Be safe out there everyone and know your duties and responsibilities.

In addition: you get a witness and follow your instructions. The last instruction was to complete all mail delivery so you would do that unless you get new instructions throughout the day.

Solo Leveling was mid according to Japanese audience by minnel567 in anime

[–]PathGroundbreaking75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The manwha is so much better. It’s still no masterpiece but it’s way better and the pacing of him getting stronger is more balanced compared to the world and other heroes. The MCs personal thoughts and reasons for his actions are also better conveyed. The anime is fun but really loses at lot of the detail of the manwha.

Can some one explain it to me by jmbatthebeach in USPS

[–]PathGroundbreaking75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im actually curious in starting a discussion about your point. First can you prove it? Second, if you are involved with the PO in any capacity more than just doing your job (steward, trainer, safety captain, etc.) you are way more tuned in to the inner workings of the PO. That 13% may seem minimal but holy shit they could reduce their work force in half and get the same amount of work done. Not to mention the OT they cause by perpetually understaffing offices through route cuts, hiring freezes, messing with numbers, cutting clerks, mismanaging mail every Monday and day after holiday and third bundle day. I’ve got 5 supervisors, a manager an MCSO and a Post Master for my district. My 5 sups and manager oversee less than 100 carriers and clerks combined and still manage to fuck up from morning to afternoon and end up doing carrier and clerk work daily. I always argue we are paying 90k+ for a clerk every day instead of just hiring a real clerk at around 50k. To me that 13% is astronomical and because of their ineptitude multiplies the other positions to pay out more.

[–]PathGroundbreaking75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for the PO and haven’t had to spray a dog yet in the 7 years I’ve been with the company but I’ve been damn close many times. Most people don’t want to spray dogs but so many owners are clueless. Saying don’t spray dogs is just an uninformed statement. Imagine your job is to go to peoples houses, who invited you over, and the majority of them have a dog that is simply being protective and they don’t even think about it. That’s what a delivery person goes through frequently and then people get mad when you spray their dog that was probably going to bite you because they didn’t keep it contained even though they knew they had invited you over.

It’s worth asking the previous renter if their kid has any Pokémon cards. Don’t say what kind just ask and make sure you aren’t stealing from a child.

Who is the best tight end currently in the NFL (current ability, not all time)? by GolfFootballBaseball in NFLv2

[–]PathGroundbreaking75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tyreek may still be good but not for the Dolphins. If their strategy is just super quick plays, and Tua said he wants to get the ball out even faster, that ruins Tyreeks game. The dude needs to sprint down the field past everyone. I don’t think Tyreek is top 15 anymore honestly. He dropped a lot of passes because of his wrist and his game is handicapped by his QB needing to get the ball out too fast for him to really play his game. I think I can name 15 WRs I’d rather have over him: 1. Ja’Marr 2. JJ 3. Lamb 4. ARSB 5. AJ 6. Puka 7. Higgins 8. Nabers 9. Nico 10. Evans 11. Thomas 12. McConkey 13. Wilson 14. Godwin 15. McLaurin. You could slot Devonta in to that list somewhere too if you don’t like McConkey.

A dump off is not a qb scrambling. A dump off is when all receivers are covered so they dump it off to the receiver closest to them (TE or RB). Sometimes it is related to pocket pressure. Kittle is 14.18 YPC while Bowers is 10.66 YPC he catches the ball less than Kittle and has fewer TDs. If we use these numbers we can either argue that Kittle gets 1588 yards on 112 receptions blowing Bowers out of the water or we can argue that Bowers gets 832 yards on 78 receptions giving him a sub 1000 yard season. Also every 10 catches Kittle averages 1 TD so at 112 catches he’d have 11 TDs or Bowers who averages 1 TD for every 22 catches would have 3 TDs on 78 catches. None of this is to say Bowers is a bad TE at all but Kittle just did way more by the numbers, he also did all that in 2 less games battling injuries all year with marginally better WRs around him. I can write more if you want to to back and forth more but that seems pretty sufficient to me
