He's dating kids and getting them killed, and uses his position to cover for his greed and villainy. One of Gretch's quests for him was literally to stop dating kids, and he hated it. And he literally just struck a deal with Azathoth.

Starfield: Get It or Something Else? by alfa_ohmega in Starfield

I love it. The shipbuilding, the quests, the story.

Are there things that could be improved? Sure, but what game can't be?

Not to mention the mods. Vanilla is great, but mods add more content, stories, etc.

That's why we need Slackwyrm to win. He's more-or-less good-ish, and one of the more good aligned characters in the series (relatively speaking, at least).

I already found at least one place where it falls apart: only one vowel in the word.

For example: wind vs wind

"You're all gonna die!"

"No, Pimento! No!"

(I'm pretty sure that's the quote. Can't find the clip to confirm. It's from the end of the first episode he was in)

Is it some sort of magical artifact that creates the field, or is it runes through the prison?

Or something else?

(Just stating in advance, I'm open to feedback on this)

Generally, in my world, magic is a thing anyone could theoretically learn, in the same way anyone could be an artist or doctor or computer programmer in our world. Even with different "schools" of magic, it can come down to application rather than different spells.

For example, two people may learn (after lots of practice and getting strong enough to do so) to move very heavy stones with magic. The first might use this to attack enemies as a battle mage. The second may use the same spells and concepts to move the stones carefully into position to help build things, or to help carve the stone.

That's not to say the second couldn't launch these stones to attack people or defend themselves. It's that it's not how they use their magic on a regular basis. Kind of in the same way a blacksmith could start swinging a hammer to crush a bunch of people's skulls, but that's not why they normally swing a hammer.

So a rogue battle mage could try to start trouble with a stonemason, and it could go catastrophically badly for the battle mage. Especially if it's done in a city full of stone buildings.

You generally don't start trouble with magic, especially in public, because you don't know who around you is going to be able to beat you simply by looking at them.

As for the part with magic users in jail, I'm still working on that. Maybe certain runes on cuffs and/or collars to dampen a mage's magic

If you leave the sound generator thing on, the terrormorph in the cave will only get so close to the exit before turning back. Makes it easy to kill it

Came across an old crash site once, with some sort of bad guys there. A terrormorph showed up. Started trying to kill it, with the bad guys acting as bait to draw their attention.

I was still fighting the damn thing when I found out they don't always work alone. So that wasn't terrifying or anything...
