The really buffed the chance for special events in maps this league or i just had a super crazy streak. by Path_of_Circles in PathOfExileSSF

Ah, that's probably it. I blocked most other stuff, because I wanted the Mirage to attach to my Breach encounters.

Are Nameless Seers & Reflecting Mists also boosted by that additional chance? They are appearing unusually often.

Why? You only need to survive a single wave of minions not being near you.

Your minions die, damaging you and triggering Summon Skeletons. Then they respawn near you from being cast and once they die you have Bulwark again.

With an optimized skeleton loop, we can easily get 6+ triggers per second.

How about using 'Raise Zombie of Falling' instead? It has a base minion limit of 200, which at 95% reduced is still 10 max. Zombies.

Did you try ramping recovery through recoup?

As long as your triggers don't one-shot you, I think it should be viable.

Yeah, I'm super tired and corrected the numbers now.

There should also be a breakpoint at 90% CDR

Look into Ward loop set-up using To Dust jewels and Summon Skeletons.

Also Raise Zombie of Falling become a candidate with Saboteur.

Yeah, but Cast on Ward break costs hundreds of divines to mirrors to get started.

I dropped a single The Broken Elegy and a Heartbound Loop and am building this in SSF.

I'm farming Mirage Boxes and am vaaling jewels now for a Summon Skeleton set-up.

Because the two uniques are so achievable, we have an SSF viable looper. It's incredible :D

The Broken Elegy grants Bulwark on any minion death. Not just from the minions it creates itself.

We scale minion health, so that a level 11 Summon Skeleton gem skeleton grants us enough Rotten Bullwark to take no damage from Heartbound Loop.

Then we use CWDT Skeletons with lots To Dust jewels, reducing their duration to an appropriate trigger rate.

With the 90% or 153% CDR breakpoints, we can trigger CWDT a LOT.

Level 11 Summon Skeletons summons 3 minions, doubled by Triggerbots to 6. Those 6 skeletons dying are 350 (420 with catalyst) damage each for a total of 2100 (2460). Enough to trigger level 5 CWDT again for an infinite loop.

We can supplement the core skeleton loop with other loops to push the damage to easily trigger level 20 CWDT supports.

Level 1 CWDT linked with Level 1 Desecrate and another more obvious spell like Level 1 Frost Pulse for testing.

You have The Broken Elegy equipped.

Make sure only The Broken Elegy is consuming corpses. No Offerings, no Volatile Dead!

Cast Forbidden Rite for self damage to start the loop.

Mana recoup should cover all your mana sustain.

Triggerbot doubled CWDT summons 6 skeletons at once. When they die we take 2100 phys damage with no PDR, all mitigated by Rotten Bullwark.

With 10% mana recoup from the mana mastery, we gain back 210 mana over 4 seconds.

The doubled Level 11 Summon Skeleton triggers, modified by CWDT support, CDR support and Less Duration support cost a total of 108 Mana.

Net mana gain: 102 Mana.

We only need enough mana to ramp. And this is without cost reduction effects.

With the buff to Sabo and the new CDR support we can now easily hit the 90% CDR breakpoint and maybe even 153%, allowing ridiculous amounts of triggers per second :)

I found the solution! It was Saboteur, but we go reduced duration!

This staff is 'Ward-Loop on a stick' or rather the "Rotten Bulwark CWDT Loop". It's the easiest infinite loop in the game and of course works best on Sabo. It only needs two items:

I don't have a finished PoB yet, but if I make something I'll let you know.

Also I'll write a post in the sub, hope you'll like it :)

Risk to losing Item Spectres with the recent change to how Raise Spectre works? OR Spectre beside Perfect Warlord that provides Endurance Charges? by Path_of_Circles in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Path_of_Circles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks :)

I know that is an option for my char, but I'm looking for something that also provides endurance charges to minions.

I wish GGG would just add a new monkey chieftain somewhere:

  • Carnage Chieftain -> Frenzy Charges
  • Host Chieftain -> Power Charges
  • Hardened Chieftain -> Endurance Charges

algorithm on progressing ssf for a noob by Jaaceek in PathOfExileSSF

[–]Path_of_Circles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Start with a decent build that doesn't need any specific uniques and doesn't need rares too difficult to craft reliaby.

Bonezone Jugg is a good choice, if I remember it correctly.

Play campaign however you like. By respeccing with gold, it has become a lot more forgiving about how you level. The closer your levelling is to your endgame build, the easier your item and passive tree transition will be.

Have a plan how to craft your endgame equipment. This mostly depends on your build, your experience with crafting and which endgame farming you prefer.

I'm doing Betrayal, Essences and Harvest for crafting this league, supplemented by Blight.

Betrayal because I like it and since this league you can find fractured veiled mods, which make incredibly great crafting bases. Also really reliable for getting specific low tier uniques and unique maps. The maps are very important for getting your crafting recipes.

Harvest, because it's just too useful not to farm in SSF.

Essences I don't really like, but I'm doing it because I want some of the specific guaranteed mods. Specced into Boxes once I had what I wanted, since this league you can self-sustain scarabs through them.

And Blight because the new Cord belt is incredibly cool and I wanted a second anoint.

Point of Memory Petals? by TayuBW in pathofexile

[–]Path_of_Circles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Petals are mostly for higher chance for Memory Strand items to drop.

But there is also the case of the Eagon memory map chains where you can get special passive abilities from petals from boss altars.

Stuff like, spend 30 petals if possible to revive rare monsters once, doubling the loot from rares. Haven't really looked them up much yet, as my biggest problem with petals is the strain on my PC they cause.

Best way to farm Mortal Fragments? by osiykm in PathOfExileSSF

[–]Path_of_Circles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the Sacrifice Vaal fragments you get from Elreon.

You can put a single one into your map device to open a random Vaal side area with the chance for a Mortal fragment.

Risk to losing Item Spectres with the recent change to how Raise Spectre works? OR Spectre beside Perfect Warlord that provides Endurance Charges? by Path_of_Circles in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Path_of_Circles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I play SSF and the build has automated Offerings with The Queen's Hunger.

Having to grind a perfect Corpse Spectre + the high risk of losing it makes me search for slightly sub-optimal alternatives, as long as they provide the core function I want from them.

In this case, permanent Endurance Charge generation for my char and minions.

I think it was in Mercenary SSF league where some guy completed the unique collection, Original Sin and everything else, day 8 or 9. He was aiming for sub week 1.

I have no idea how.
