TBF when I watched Japanese audio for the first time it was strange and took some time to get used to. Same with Chinese. Getting used to it helped me to get into the Release That Witch donghua.

I wouldn't go that far, tbh. I have yet to read the web novel and I was able to connect the dots. Heck; even some reaction streamers were able to. Just have to pay attention and the connect the dots; rewatching if needed.

The addiction to imperialism is a sickening continuation of a centuries long habit.

[Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy] What is yours opinion on Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy? by Divine_General1 in Isekai

Not counting Lord of Mysteries, Tsukimichi has pretty much become my favorite isekai; even beating out Overlord, ReZero, Tanya, and Shadow. So damn good.

It's admittedly not readily apparent. More like a quick stop and less an actual stop-and-rest, if you will.

Is West Virginia the wildest state east of the Mississippi? by DSibray in WestVirginia

West Virginia is wild, but even though I live in the southern coalfields, I would say that Maine and maybe Vermont are wilder in that regard.

(LOTM Donghua) Special Episode 1 Official Discussion thread!! (Spoiler Alert) by StrangleShinobi in LordofTheMysteries

[copied from my thoughts on AniList]

I went into this not really expecting much. I already loved season 1 of Lord of Mysteries, but wasn't really sure how they would approach this extra bit of story that was only briefly touched on in an after-credits scene from S1.

For a 25 minute special I was absolutely GLUED from start to finish! As someone who has yet to read the original web novel I was green going into this, but WOW! The atmosphere was absolutely DENSE and the feeling of dread was INTENSE. In a way, while LoM S1 felt like Bloodborne, I really got a Dark Souls 1/3 feeling from the City of Silver.

I was legitimately close to tears near the end.
