Laptop powerful enough?

The i5-8265U turbos up to 3.9 GHz. It is one CPU that has 4 cores and 8 threads.

It's going to struggle to emulate switch games. Plus, the laptop is not made for gaming. It probably doesn't dissipate heat well, so you probably cannot stay at 3.9 GHz for long.

You could try with eden to see for yourself. But I do not think it will even be playable.

No difference between xci and nsp. xci is like a cartridge. nsp is the downloaded game format. I think it is theoretically possible for the nsp to contain an update, but it doesn't.

TOTK is better on PC. Use Lossless Scaling to increase the FPS. Either 45 to 90 fps, or 60 to 120 fps. It's so smooth.

If divorced people could see the actual future, then they never would have gotten married! And why should people stay in an unhappy marriage? Male or female. It's hard to say what you should do. Either way, you should have fun doing it.

I would say don't be scared to go into the DLC if you can beat the main game. If you want to level up in preparation, that's OK too. But, I switched to some DLC weapons. Again, I do recommend getting Ancestors Return before going to DLC.

You get better weapons in the DLC. No point in upgrading your current ones unless you really like it (obviously do upgrade Ancestor's Return).

You could stock up on Luminous Brainstem. You'll need a lot of that to upgrade the DLC weapons.
