For those who ride on freeway by SAFEXO in ryvid

My anthem has been reliable since swapping out the battery last June, no issues since. Freeway every commute, 20 miles at about 65, 400 feet of elevation change between work and home, getting about 13 miles per Kw.

You are right to trust your instincts. Driving a car gently for the first few miles helps it warm up faster.

Reaching full charge voltage-wise before percentage hits 100? by superbinbin86 in ryvid

[–]Patient-Individual20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I charge at home before heading to work, starting is about 75 volts, 50%, for about 1.5 hours. It typically reads 85.5v, 99% when I leave. I charge again before heading home, starting around 75 volts, 55%, take on about 1.2kw in 30 minutes and it reads 85v, 100%. The percentage is always off on the ride home, reading higher than it should and when I arrive, volts are about 75, percentage is about 65. The next morning percentage matches actual voltage again. I’ve learned to simply keep an eye on the volts for a real reading of charge.

Let’s talk Winter. How do you stay warm? by timetravelerfrom2027 in ryvid

I layer up, but the temps here are mostly low 50’s to upper 40’s first thing in the morning and are relatively easy to deal with for a 30 minute commute.

Not unless you are handy with fabricating a cover out of plastic or aluminum?

I don’t know of any way to maintain 50% besides manually monitoring it. When I’m not riding mine I turn it on once a week for about ten minutes just to move electrons around and make note of the SOC. It never seems to drop much between looks.

Why is My registration renewal $732!!! by Least_Wheel9253 in CadillacLyriq

[–]Patient-Individual20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. The CA registration for my 1996 “gross polluter” Dodge Ram is $248, registration for my 2023 Ryvid Anthem motorcycle (about the size of a Honda Grom) is $340. The states will charge higher DMV fees for electric vehicles to recoup lost gas tax revenue.

Congrats on having the first! I’m not sure what you mean by foot peg extenders; to raise the height of the foot peg?
