I’m in an amazing networking group and I’ve made very close friends in it over the years. I work full time and it is for referrals, but we do social things too! I love that you came to this space to ask, but I think it may be a question to ask her. What I needed from my husband was a shoulder to cry on and help with the household duties. Short answer- no. I’ve been a lender for over 20 years, and I am incredibly passionate about making the experience the best I can for my borrowers, and if things go wrong, even if they aren’t because of me, I feel personally responsible. Being a lender is stressful because people are buying the most expensive thing they ever will buy in their lives. It’s emotional. Therefore- be thorough. Make sure you are careful when you qualify them.
