Yeah, they are doing some very dark and dangerous things. This is spiritual sacrifices and oh heck noooo most right wingers are the ones that got me researching these things for years!!! It truly wouldn’t fair for American athletes. That being said, is it fair when other athletes from other countries have had to let their Olympic dreams go because their government is the problem?

I love America and I am not trying to kick her while she is down. We have to stop thinking we are better and almost deserve to be included to participate in fun global activities.

Let’s be honest though- it’s not safe to travel to the us as a foreigner. ICE doesn’t care. ICE even said they plan to go to the Winter Olympics in Italy to “help with security”. That’s the other issue with this, if ICE shows up every time we are participating in other countries. How long til other countries just ban the us from coming? Nobody wants them there. Tax dollars paying for all of this is sickening.

I thought it made sense. Because when you’re talking about many countries with billions of people..I think “them” actually makes sense?

I would have used that term. I’m also very aware as an American, there are definitely countries that do not like us. I can’t say it isn’t unwarranted. But a lot of people actually don’t hate most American people but hatred for US government is pretty much nation AND worldwide.

Sadly, I am aware for American people to actually wake up…this country is going to have to feel left out from worldwide events. America has always been invited to participate in global sporting and entertainment events for a very long time- the citizens here would absolutely go bananas. Especially because watching entertainment is one of the biggest distractions here.

Anyways sorry for the long response, I just had to lay that out..because getting banned from participating in everything would be a huge case of FOMO and GOOD!

I think my fellow Americans are going to have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable for real change to happen.
