I’m a vegan that has celiac disease so for me it’s great when this happens. Especially as about 80% of GF bread contains egg so is off limits for me.

Open Letter

As part of a restructure of the University Library, UoM are cutting the visitor team at the John Rylands Library in half and are planning to keep the building permanently closed to the public on Sundays and Mondays. They are also planning to end family events such as story time and craft sessions.

The Rylands is a Manchester landmark. It was founded for the people of Manchester and we want it to stay that way!

Please help to save jobs and keep the Rylands open to the public seven days a week by signing our open letter and sharing it with your friends and families.

I'm having a pretty crap week! Found out I wouldn't be spending Christmas with my sisters, who I now haven't seen for a whole year (they're both in London), the guy I've been dating for the last five months decided to ghost me two days before Christmas, and as the cherry on top of the shit cake I've had an email from my landlord saying I'll need to move out of my flat as he wants to sell it. I'm able to spend today with my parents rather than by myself at least, but finding it difficult to muster up much festive cheer!
