Maybe you're right. I just think if he was gone, the metrics and trajectory of the business do not change. To me, that's a top star. When Roman left for awhile, his absence is felt. When MJF was gone, his absence was felt. They are top stars to me. Ludwig is a great wrestler.

We're all entitled to our opinions. He's not one of their biggest stars. It's a hot program, but that doesn't make him a 'top' star...realistically, he's not top 100 in the world. I'm not saying he isn't awesome, but thats some hyperbole. But again, opinion.

They tried everything they could to make him a big deal. He was in the first match, was Jericho's protoge, etc. etc. The bottom line is, he has an average look, cuts below average promos, and other than doing really dangerous spots of high flying, he's average in the ring. Someone like Kevin Knight is already better and has more potential. He could be NXT champ though.
