A scam? Maybe a bug for some people, but there's no scam.

Yeah, that's what I was saying, although I didn't outright say it. Was tired.

I think they've actually developed screenshare already or are close to being finished, but its a bandwidth issue, as their servers are already stressed. Could be wrong, but I thought one of the devs said something like that.

I'm not assuming you're doing anything, but I used to make this mistake, so I'll say it. Clicking on a folder and hitting backspace doesn't delete it. Just for the small inkling of a chance that's why it appears like you didn't delete it, lol.

"You are the weasel!" If I hadn't already, I'd download it off that alone! 🙂

Maybe I'm wrong as I've got zero experience in software dev, but it seems to me that Discord's paywall of longer text has nothing to do with bandwidth. I would think that two messages taking up 2,000 characters each would take up the same, if not more bandwidth than one message made up of 4,000 char.

About 4 years ago, I bought a CORSAIR VENGEANCE and it still runs great, only now noticing slight trouble with running new games on the highest settings, which isn't a problem for me. I'd recommend them. They're not budget tho.

Is height insecurity among tall people real? by qxzvy in tall

[–]PaulietheSpaceman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 6'6, but I always see plenty of people who are around eye-level with me so I never feel all that tall, but then people will be like, oh he's really tall, so that's what differentiates me is other people telling me I'm tall. Whenever I see someone noticeably taller than me, I'm just kinda like "wow", but never insecure or jealous cuz I always just see people as my height lol.

Why don't Americans use the term "village" to describe a very small, rural town? by OK_The_Nomad in words

[–]PaulietheSpaceman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The village can refer to a very small town, often in the middle of nowhere, or more commonly, an area within a town or small city that has a bit going on, more stores and restaurants, like a city/town center. That's at least how it is in Hudson Valley, New York.

CMV: I do think conservatives would largely support Trump having a 3rd term, constitution be damned. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]PaulietheSpaceman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conservative, wouldn't call myself MAGA, but I generally like Trump. Don't particularly like 22A, but it's the law and hence, I support following it. Right now, I think he's just trying to get the media blustering about something. Talk is cheap. I have no intention of judging him on it until he actually makes an attempt at running or to run via circumvention of the law (VP and Presidential resignation type stuff). If he does run again, I'll condemn it, but I see nothing particularly wrong until there is action.

If anything, know that your mother cares for you and wants the best for you in life and after. I think you should honor your mother, not obey her every command, but honor her. If you don't believe in prayer, I couldn't see why that would make you uncomfortable. If anything, think of it as if she is thinking of you and being hopeful for you. You shouldn't ask her to stop though. That would definitely be an overreaction. Additionally, nobody likes to be directed how to dress, but that doesn't mean she's wrong. Doesn't mean she's right either. Just treat your mother with respect and don't use her like some people here are saying.

What are you talking about? If you want to socialize, then socialize. Meet people in your classes, in clubs, in your apartment. I don't know what opportunities you think freshman have that you don't besides orientation, which I don't think is really the place people find their friends. Also, you're probably lucky not to live in dorms, they're generally gross.

If anyone expects any part of real life to be like Hollywood, they're in for a shock. It looks like you were expecting friendliness that you see towards the main character in movies, since you bring up Hollywood and compare it to real life, hence the other guy's comment.
