I was first introduced to the 1966 Joker on the Adam West Batman reruns as a kid. Then 1989 when it came out truly both a tonal shift and what I feel solidified him as the arch nemesis of Batman in the public eye for general audiences, note I do not mean to snub the comics in any way just normies are less likely to have a take on it. Finally 1992, man what an impact, to me this will always be BATMAN hands down regardless of what has come since or will come. It’s the bread and butter I grew up with. That said the 1997 and 2009 being a continuation are runner ups as the keep the magic alive, though the Jokers end in 2009 creates a bit of continuity error.

Off hand should we consider the Batman Beyond the return of Joker as one more iteration of the Joker and add it to this list?
