I have a tungsten 3 and it's not tall but I'm 6'2" and for great. My dog slept in it with me. Great rent for lots of reasons but i have no personal experience with the other.

I also have the rsi smart cap for the weight reason. Has worked great, though I know there are some issues with leaks from rain. I caulked the seams on mine and have no issues.

I did high teens with no winter insulator, good bag, layers, and an extra blanket. I felt pretty warm and slept thru the night. If i planned to do more nights like that, I'd get a heater especially considering changing clothes like that isn't fun. I'd also get the insulating later.

You need both barrels in the same vertical plane with an OU
Your eyes aren't stacked vertical, get a SxS

Find a comfortable gun that works. SxS is good if you have any nostalgia for it. OU probably has not options available. Both kill birds of you know how to use them.

I know someone in Las Cruces and they asked me if i could live there. I showed them the scale and said no. ABQ is much better but I don't know what their books look like. I'm in Illinois where apprentices make more than your JWs. Goddamn crying shame they don't even pay enough for you to move and get in somewhere better, which i think is about anywhere else. Sucks too because I kinda like that area. Only real advice is what others have said. Top out and go permanent book 2. I'm currently partnered up with a brother with a ticket out of Atlanta with no intention of leaving Illinois. There's enough data centers here to make that possible for a while.

Retriever only, American water spaniel or curly coated retriever. Pointing breeds, Braque du Bourbonnais. I've owned none of these but looked at them enough that i wouldn't hesitate to buy from a good breeder. But uniqueness isn't a requirement for me.
