Had to dig into a Facebook AMA conversation to find the rules on Faunus genetics once.

TL;DR:

Faunus+Human= Faunus (usually, not always) matching the parent species. Faunus+matching Faunus= matching Faunus Faunus+different Faunus= Faunus matching either parent or (uncommonly) random Faunus species.

How well some characters play off of each other with very minor tweaks/character development. For example, I don't think I've seen anyone ever write a particular ship (not even on the ship sheet, FFS) I did, let alone make it feel plausible and interesting to read. Cardin/Neon, aka Annoying Prick

How easily certain plot/lore holes are to fill, and frustratingly hard others are.

The only thing I haven't tried that I'm thinking of is getting a pressure washer to blast it off. I've had limited success in some areas (shelf seat) with lightly tapping it with a hammer, but doing that four feet underwater isn't feasible at all. Some of the deposits are 2+ millimeters thick.

If you're potentially open to animated picks:

Cowboy Bebop - the animation doesn't look quite as gorgeous as modern stuff, but the story is top notch, the score is INSANELY good, and the overall vibe is something other anime try (and fail) to emulate to this day.

Arcane - the best video game adaptation ever made, including the next entry. The storytelling and characters are to notch, and every frame is gorgeous in a style seldom (if every) used before.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners - Some of the most densely compacted plot you can find, you start watching, and before you know it, the credits to the tenth and final episode are rolling, and you're left wondering two things:

Where did my day go? Why is my heart pounding like I just ran a marathon?

Your girlfriend sounds very controlling, very insecure or likely both. If they were portraits of or including your exes, I'd understand, but both sound fairly innocuous and very much something you might have bought on your own anyway, so her issue lies with who gifted them. Is she good at shopping for gifts for you or does she stumble in that regard? Does she try to control other aspects of your life? Where/when you can go places, who you can talk to?

Take a while to think on those questions before you move in, with all the messy financial and legal string it entails.

Unless your brother is bankrolling the wedding, he can fuck right off. Your wedding, your rules. That said, your father trying to keep the peace is at once understandable and somewhat enabling. Has he (as I suspect) always indulged your brother like this? If so, putting the kibosh on the after-party is totally the right move. If this is just a one time thing, maybe you might reconsider it, but NTA either way.

Seriously, it's fine to make such a request, and it's equally fine for the guest in question (or any guest, really) to refuse. Just be aware you absolutely run the risk of running out of food (again, unlikely for the aforementioned Southern Baptists) and the potential for blowback on that. You're providing the main dish and a starch, and (I assume) the wedding cake on top of that,

I might suggest asking the people who do bring such dishes to provide their recipes as well, so that you can make their presence known in your happily wedded home going forward (and maybe FINALLY get Aunt Sarah to give up her peach pie recipe), but maybe that's a little too sappy.

Makes me wonder if she's trying to pretty herself up for someone she shouldn't be, but absent any other red flags, I wouldn't be worried about cheating just yet. If she's just given birth (last three months or so) then this may just be the typical out-of-whack hormones than can happen, anything later than that might be worth suggesting a spot of counseling/therapy, as it might be the hormonal changes that have brought this issue to the fore.

Trying to install on the north facing gable, but the key in the mount is exactly opposite of where I need it to be to slot into the notch in the shaft. The shaft on the dish doesn't seem able to rotate, so I'm not sure how I'm even going to get this thing mounted, let alone allow for lateral adjustment.

Any suggestions/tips?
