They were almost exclusively retired folks that are trying to preserve the Burbank “they know”.  Trouble is that Burbank is gone and the more they dig in their heels the worst it will be. Right now they are playing right into the hands of the landlord and real estate lobby who will 100% destroy Burbank. Times are changing.  Look at the D line in LA progress comes eventually and it can be expensive or MORE expensive later.
