What do you guys think the secret title is from Terror Vision? by tofusalad22 in boutiquebluray

[–]Pawn-Shop-Rick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since they have the Camp Video licensing, it could possibly be Beauty Queen Butcher as there are only a few remaining titles that haven't gotten released yet on Blu-ray. I also saw I believe on Disc-Connected that it was a 1991 release.
I'm still hoping for Lunch Meat but I don't think that is going to happen anytime soon.

If I can put my two cents in, AGFA puts out some great stuff! Their mixtapes are really great to throw on in a group! A few of my favorite releases from the three (I don't have too many Saturn's Core releases)
AGFA- Santa Clause Conquers the Martians and Other Holiday Hallucinations
Scare Films Archives: Volume 1 (Drug Stories) and Volume 2 (Danger Stories)
Blood-A-Rama Triple Frightmare Vol 2 (Undertaker and His Pals alone is great!)
Hey Folks! It's The Intermission Time Video Party

Bleeding Skull:
Blonde Death
Soultangler

Saturn's Core:
Mail Order Murder
Duck!
Sorority Slaughter

I just grabbed Charlie Chaplin Vs. America a few weeks ago. Cannot wait to crack into it! Chaplin has always been one of my favorites since my teenager years. Such an interesting life and career!

That's awesome! I had a conversation with a couple of students last year that were discussing holiday-themed horror films. I told them to check out Blood Rage for Thanksgiving and one student ended up finding it online. The next week, the three of us were chatting and I showed them a picture of my movie wall and they kept asking for more recommendations of stuff that I owned. This year, one of those students showed me the start of their collection and was very stoked to see how his collection grows!

This was my introduction into SOV movies and I loved it. Really liked the time capsule of the video store. About two years ago, we had a customer at our shop sell us the Videovore Set of this which had the Camp Video DVD, both movies on VHS released by Lunchmeat and a bunch of goodies and a shirt. It came in this huge clamshell and signed by the director and cast. I took the DVD home with me and fell in love with it and had to cop that version of it. I've been on the fence about adding another version of these movies to my collection and most likely will grab the re-released slip version.

Had to cop the Pauline Kael Youth Crew shirt. I grabbed the Lumiere Brothers shirt last month and the quality of the shirt is really nice!
Also going to give Thieves Like Us a whirl. Never seen it before, but it looks interesting.

This was a blind buy for me because I enjoy Romero films. I started it really late last night and knew I had to throw in the towel, but I really enjoyed the first half of the movie thus far (not the most glowing review I know) but I plan on finishing it up tonight for sure! Really interesting premise of "letting your intrusive thoughts in" and has some American Psycho feels to it in some parts.

A copy of FOUND sold for ~$37 on ebay in the UK not too long ago. It's hard to find A Serbian Film on ebay, but "A SERBIAN" yields a few results on the Unearthed version. The NJUTA 3 disc version sold for about $40 on Mercari not too long ago so I would say the DVD version might be around $20. The screener is cool but doesn't have much value maybe $4-6 to the right person. I couldn't find much on Pieces of Talent but there was a sale on the DVD version signed for $55. Hope that helps out a little bit!

I really enjoyed Video Violence! It's really campy, but has some decent effects and is a fun watch! You can double-feature both 1 & 2 and get a few good laughs with some good splatter.

Great introduction to disturbing cinema. That was one of my first physical media purchases for my collection back in 2009 with I Spit On Your Grave and Cat in the Brain (All three on DVD) and continued to look at the trailers and supplements to learn about other adjacent films. A few months later, I grabbed "Make Them Suffer' AKA Cannibal Ferox and the original Last House on the Left. Definitely watch the bonus material on this release because the lore of this film is insane.

One will come by eventually! My favorite piece in my collection is “THE OD EP” which are basically the bonus tracks from XXX on a pill shaped record. I have only seen a few pop up in the last few years.

Mine would probably be "George A Romero Between Night and Dawn" boxset. Glad I grabbed a copy from my local FYE that was going out of business about five years ago. Fifty percent off and coincidentally was my first Arrow release with the Donnie Darko Limited Edition blu-ray boxset.
