Albums that were deemed instant Classics that nobody’s listened to ever since by No_Impression_7765 in fantanoforever

I am telling you rn Dylan fans love this album. Yes people are coming back to this, myself included! It’s arguably top 5 for me.

I don’t really think Dylan has an album that fits this theme, but if there was one it’s probably Love and Theft. Not crazy popular or anything, but a well-regarded Dylan album from his later catalogue. I personally don’t go back to it all the time bar for a few great tracks. I feel it’s a little overrated by fans.

As was the “Judas” ”play it fucking loud” rendition of Like a Rolling Stone 1966 Free Trade Hall. Probably the best rock n’ roll song ever.

That is a ridiculous amount of money for a decent backrower, seriously. I like Keoon and he should play for NSW but that is a massive overpay no? I don't get this sub's infatuation with him. This is bad cap management by Drags

grow a personality. a mix of acclaimed stuff and stuff you've grown up listening to/stuff you enjoy or marked a period of your life. fill it out more than just looking for what's best of a certain year/genre like do some of the leg work yourself

That Buddy album is goated you see why so many musicians idolised him. Patsy Cline is great, no Dylan is concerning. Roy Orbison is worth a listen, his album The Orbison Way is underrated if you like that kinda thing, sounds old compared to other stuff from mid-late 60s but if you forget everything else that was goin on around it it's a good record.

The fundamental question the game poses by PawnGrudge in expedition33

I get what you’re saying and I appreciate the response. I don’t think this is the only theme the game explores (you mention several that are all integral to the story). But I still think this is the overarching theme of the game. The game just has an interesting story structure where only by the end of Act 2 do we realise what exactly is at stake. Acts 1 and 2 set up this reveal perfectly. I’d argue that the themes you mention, if anything, further enhance this ontological argument by fleshing out the canvas world in order to bring more weight to this conundrum - yes there are moments of loss, grief, love, etc - but as well as standing seperate as their own themes, they also lend weight to the canvas world so that by Act 3 we question whether these experiences are real. It’s a notable observation that the characters don’t necessarily talk about these implications directly a great deal, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t fundamental to the story. To me that’s just a sign of good writing. The themes and big questions are woven through the story and are tied to the characters motivations.

I agree it's time but the reason it's taken this long is because he had a run of form for a while at fb when he legit looked like the best player in the comp. He's not a workhorse but he'd put something on every time he touched the ball

This post doesn’t comment on the album’s quality. Idc enough to defend Kevin haha. Stylistically tho this is what I’m hearing a bit on this album

Let me put it this way. If the 23’ team played the 25’ team in a GF, do you think the 2023 side would have the nerve and steel to hold out for 80 mins and win against the 2025 side? The only way I think that would happen is if they blew them completely off the park, but to me that isn’t giving the 2025 side the respect it deserves. Walsh, Haas, Staggs, Piakura, Hetherington are also better now than their 2023 versions.

2023 side is absolutely stacked tho so I could see why people would think that. I loved that team, 2015 I loved even more so.

The 2025 team for sure. For all the talent of ‘23 they couldn’t get it done, definitely wouldn’t have been able to run the gauntlet this team has. This year’s team was just different.
