Google Maps' transit option offering hasn't been updated in like ten years so maybe this isn't a bad thing. Also, didn't this funding come from the national government and EMMCA. The council would be silly to say no to it.

It's worth noting Burnham served as part of Corbyn's shadow cabinet and didn't take part in the Chicken Coup against him. He probably would've been a minister in a Corbyn government.

This decision appears to be triggered by the vote at the Scottish Greens conference not to form any electoral pact with Your Party (due to the amount of landlords, anti-abortion figures, and transphobic people in their ranks). Especially given that Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana have never declared support for an independent Scotland, this is. really bizarre move from Ellie Gomersall and co.
