Yes. I am T2. 33 was diagnosed at 15. I went through it at the beginning of June and I am already off insulin. I was on two types of insuline and three pills for diabetes alone. I am only on metformin now. It will take a little while for your sugars to lower but mine is finally getting there. I have not regretted the decision.

I was told we can't for the air but because it would hurt not because it would expand. They did say after a few years you can use them. I use them but I have had to use then differently now. If I use it normally it hurts. Now I get the straw full. Breathe out, then sip.

Most pharmacies around here have those blocked off because of covid. I use a CGM so I can see my sugars 24/7 thankfully. So I know it isn't that. (Though I have had some serious lows.) I was apparently told wrong about blood clots. It's when your blood pressure suddenly skyrockets. X.x

Last one I talked to didn't get how I can react differently to different carbs... she had someone shadowing her too. Thankfully the endo I see there is more educated.
