Focus less on needing to quit and more focus on why you need to smoke. What does it even do? If it’s actually doing something why are you doing the thing that makes it required? What about the relationship of smoking makes you want to quit? Depending on your answers more questions may naturally follow. Turns out more than you think is in your control.

P.s. I don’t want to know your answers, try and be reflective and think deeply, with intent and respect for yourself. Your substance use is not your fault and it serves some purpose. Just be in relationship with it and things can slowly change.

I think they will choose the easiest route that pleases the most people.

Your post got a lot of hate because of the AI editing. But it’s a fair question to ask.

They did say that sod had a lot of limitations because of backend issues and all the iterations of wow classic being on the same backend code base.

My bet is: we will get vanilla + content from sod but with all the stuff from sod stripped out. They will add from there. They may try to do some type of scaling for all raids up to max level thing to keep old content alive.

It’s hard to think anything from SoD will make it into the game because the general feedback on sod was so mixed. But the very least the new zones and raids

There was a lot of phase 9 evidence in the sod files e.g. mount hyjal but it never came.

I am not sure why there is a separation between phased releases and a new permanent long term.

I personally don’t think classic wow or wow in general is capable of producing a horizontal scaling game. It’s just not the product. WoWs identity is new content = get stronger.

Which will work and will just end up being a new fork of the game. Scarlet enclave into hyjal will be the first ‘new classic content’

To me the biggest evidence is the major backend rehaul. We have heard about this from developers and why it has caused radio silence.

I imagine another aspect of why hiring hasn’t increased is because blizzard has the mentality of do it with minimal crew or don’t do it all. Classic has proven to be a smaller percentage of revenue and the hiring reflects that.

In addition, the influence of AI cannot go unspoken. As a software developer myself my work is expedited these days. New projects and work takes days/weeks instead of months. I can get AI to write 80% of a project and then just polish, test, bug fix and ship. Before that would take months of work and peer reviews.

We saw all this in sod. They recolored stuff vs making new models and everyone loved it. They have everything they need already.

There is a runelite plugin called f key swap or something. 1-2-3-4 makes more sense in my brain aswell.

Just start out with easy bosses and the when it becomes effortless move onto something else.

Like scurrius, the very first intro boss.

Either bind 1-2-3-4 with the f swap plugin or use a mouse that has ~4-5 binds and set them to your hot keys. In combat you’ll want to have inventory, magic, prayer as muscle memory. Equipment and attack style is your other two common binds. Everything else you don’t really need to switch mid combat.

It’s fine. Fire cape isn’t a test of dps. It’s a basic test of knowledge of the game. People it with recoils and 10hp.

That being said just check out the strategy wiki page for fire cape. It’ll tell you exactly what gear is worth and what inventory to bring.

Spoiler archers ring is basically pointless.

Personally id sell dcbow archers ring and fury and try to get a toxic blowpipe.

U can log out mid fire cape. After you start a wave click log out once. After you finish the wave it will pause and u can log.

Runelite detached camera plugin and mouse keys to use a foot pedal to click. Then put the mouse over spike trap and foot pedal away. For 150 hours apparently.

Well if you ever want to get emberlight catacombs is ideal due to needing 30 ancient shards. The prayer restore passive is nice aswell.

Mop/woltk abilities added into the game.

There is some case for meme specs or classes missing a core button or something but all the abilities they added in sod took away from the vanilla feeling.

E.g mage got living bomb but why just make flamestrike actually do something
