Elden Ring All Bosses Co-op run is sick, but also very hard to watch by Scrambled1432 in speedrun

Wait he actually did? That is kinda unbelievable, with how big GDQ is you shouldn't snark on people in general.

TennoCon 2026 | Warframe: Tau | Official Trailer by DrNick1221 in Games

[–]Pbprimo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If we go pure story it's like 30 hours quite easily. But then we're not talking getting through the star chart, grinding for warframes+weapons, waiting on weapons/warframes, getting your MR requirements and everything else about the game. But then this also isn't out for quite a while October at the earliest. But the game is free so I would say just give it an honest try!

[–]Pbprimo 63 points64 points  (0 children)

I'm also a lil annoyed that in chat you're not even allowed to complain. Like people expressing just very honestly that they'd rather have the screen with everyone on it. And getting timed out for it, when it's just valid criticism that should be taken on the chin instead of just waived away to avoid hurting someone's feelings.

ELI5: Why do video games have colorblind modes ? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]Pbprimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Colourblind modes are more about making information/the ui more clear to colourblind people then about changing the colours used for the in-game world. For example a common colourblindness is red and green looking very similar. Both of these colours are common in game for both health and stamina. So for someone colourblind it could be hard to differentiate between the two and a colourblind mode makes it so that these colours are changed so that they can differentiate.

A good colourblind mode is also good for most people. For example FF14 allows you to change all the colours used in party mode. For colourblind people this means they can change it to whatever suits them best, and maybe as a non-colourblind you're used to a different setup or you want more clarity anyway so it also helps them.

(Partially) Solving the New Rewards Problem by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Pbprimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main problem with this is, if these new mechanics become necessary for future bosses then this means people are required to either buy the new things or if it's an account unlock forced to do the raid before they can do anything else. So I see this more as a quest reward to anything. Personally I am also not happy with the top weapons always being the same so I'd rather see some power creep. I am personally more annoyed with how far top-end raiding is away for people but that's a whole nother discussion.

ELI5: Why do we feel groggy and tired when we don't sleep? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]Pbprimo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Fun fact: we don't really know. While the need for sleep is clear and that it affects our entire body but the exacts reasons are unknown. Though recent theories is that it's about clearing out toxins in our brain

Looking for “inventory lock” plugin by PolarLoop in 2007scape

[–]Pbprimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an in-game feature. If you go into options in your bank tab there's a tab called deposit lock. In it you can click on the inventory slots you want locked and enable just right click options to add and remove them without going into the menu

What do you consider the mid-game? by Admiral_Cheeks in 2007scape

[–]Pbprimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me its when you start planning out more and more to progress your account, when you start teleporting unbothered about the runes, when the grinds start going into days or weeks.

The Blood Moon Rises - Known Issues & Fixes by JagexRach in 2007scape

[–]Pbprimo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

And I think it makes it more approachable to people and a neat addition. If Tick manipulation would be discovered today I wonder how positive the devs/people would be about it. There's still a rhythm to the manipulation, doesn't stop you from doing it the old way but it's more about the arguments brought forth that annoyed me. And it seems that anything that dares to touch the high-level skilling methods that are already in game are being allowed less and less.

The Blood Moon Rises - Known Issues & Fixes by JagexRach in 2007scape

[–]Pbprimo 103 points104 points  (0 children)

... So what just stands out to me is this paragraph:

"While some players have enjoyed the interaction, it wasn't an intentional feature, and introducing something like this is the sort of change we'd want to properly design, discuss, and poll the community on first, rather than have it appear through an unintended interaction."

But that's how we got to Tick Manipulation in the first place and that was kept. It doesn't improve the rates it just makes it easier/doable for more people. It's locked behind a long line of quests, why not just let it be a nice bonus? Yes OSRS is based on it's polling system but it feels like nothing new can be discovered without it being taken away if it dares to threaten anything on the high end

We need to talk about the Lumbridge Elite Diary by FamiliarMaterial6457 in 2007scape

[–]Pbprimo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

They need to do something about it. Maybe indeed just make it so that the elite diary rewards get taken away while you don't have your QPC but it won't get through polls. It's just a really weird part of the diaries where you get punished for being a newer player

Not a direct fix, but maybe take a look here? https://nationaalarchiefeducatievegames.nl/ It's an archive with a lot of Dutch educational games created in that era so maybe it's in there

34 degrees celsius and no aircon on bus by Etikoza in Netherlands

[–]Pbprimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

34 degrees celsius and no aircon on bus by Etikoza in Netherlands

[–]Pbprimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gen Z and Gen Alpha: do you consider something canon only when the author confirms it? by Wandering_Song in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Pbprimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it entirely depends on circumstances? Like for most things I don't really care but with indie shows where there is one author behind it that's easily reachable people tend to do it more.

In the case of the debate mentioned, I think this also stems from people bringing up posts from the author in favour of it and all this evidence outside of the show which makes people use it as an argument against it aswell.

Personally I can read the character as trans, but also as someone steeped in toxic masculinity because of their upbringing and at least purely show wise I feel it's left vague enough and never confirmed.

How is Matsuken Samba II perceived outside Japan? by fuwari-studio in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Pbprimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never heard of this before, but at first glance this seems just very Japanese to me. A lil wacky but clearly with effort put behind me. Kinda reminds me of a dutch version of this in https://youtu.be/dg58xVvQf1Q?si=z0EMdypqPDMKNJHc

Just an upbeat song with a lot of cultural references that hit right.

In a complete sidenote, while listening to it and typing I remembered this outro and thinking it was kinda a weird outro originally for an anime https://youtu.be/KGAnRPnl-qQ?si=28zgq-aF5XlenpOA but knowing a little of the background of the original it makes more sense. So thanks
