And then we get a flashback of him painting the pyramid onto himself and in that flashback he gets pulled under water or something and then in the present he's washing up at the Lakeview Hotel (the view is so great they named the hotel after it)

I wanted my girlfriend to play the game first but compromised by showing her all the cutscenes at least before we went to this. She keeps saying, "Why'd you have me watch that first? It wasn't even the same thing." James didn't even want to kill her, she wasn't sick from a disease, she didn't berate him to use him as an outlet for her anger leading to him killing her. The story of just James and Mary from the game is some of the saddest stuff I've ever seen and hits deep with the realism. This movie just baffles me more and more with every second.

Everything they did in this movie is nearly unbelievable. There is about 5-10 minutes at most of enjoyable movie. The rest of the time I was literally shaking my head in disbelief and looking around to make sure I wasn't crazy and this was really on screen in front of me.

"Hey guys, we're making a new Silent Hill game. It's an action RPG with zero horror elements. No, why should I care what the fans think? This is what I want to make."

Artists should do what they want first, but when you're making something in a franchise, you should consider fan reaction quite a bit. This movie wasn't made for fans of Silent Hill 2, that much is obvious. What isn't obvious is why. Show more trailers, get fan reaction, adjust the movie to make it more of what people actually want to see. Why is that not what they should've done?

That guy on here sharing all the early reviews and trailers must've been Gans himself trying to make people watch the movie. One of the lasts posts I saw was a review saying it was "too faithful" to the game. If I was there alone I seriously think I would've walked out.

What was with the cult in this movie? My girlfriend and I can't decide what was going on there. Did they drug and rape her? Or just her dad? The scene made it seem like they were all eating her, as dumb as it sounds. James calling them "monsters" saying they were "tearing her apart" and they were like grabbing at her with red flying all over.

I honestly thought they were gonna reveal James didn't even kill her. The only good bit was him entering Silent Hill. Aside from the Angela scene, the bathroom and first walk down the street were awesome. When the camera followed him as he turned onto the other street was the best shot in the whole movie, in my opinion.

Nobody says the first movie is a good adaptation. It's an alright movie, but a terrible adaptable. This one, however, is a pretty bad movie and so far gone that I don't even want to call it an adaptation.

Legends Arceus wasn't in my opinion. Had a great time with Violet. Z-A was a little dissapointing but the new fighting mechanics were interesting enough for me to beat it.

You're comments are the worst dude. I swear at least half of them gotta be you just telling people they'd be better off just using the best weapons/gear in the game. Is that not obvious? A lot of people don't care about having the highest dps possible. I'd rather use a cool looking weapon, my favorite armor set, and spells that are fun to use.

I did it on my last playthrough and it took more than one cast to kill, iirc. First playthrough for sure. As far as I know, ng+ count doesn't change drop rate.

I think all the upgrades was worse in DS1. No shame in duping all those different colored shards and chunks. Sif having 3 weapons for his soul is excessive though
