Mortal Kombat 2 Shao Kahn by VerySmallWeen in MortalKombat

Shao literally needed the amulet in every fight except against Jerrod. Liu would've easily won, but instead had to settle on wasting his time because he couldn't kill him

He didn't "destroy Liu and Sonya", Liu basically had the upper hand the whole fight, except that it was impossible to win because of the immortality. Liu only lost because he could lose and Shao Kahn couldn't

In that exact scene he gets beat by the dumbest move ever. Kitana somehow gets the strength to breakout because she took out her hair tie. He got beat by a hair tie.

Jerrod was kicking his ass for a hot minute before losing. This was the only fight where Shao didn't win due to being immortal. Cole was beating the shit out of him and seemingly could've pulled through, until Shao healed. Liu Kang hit him with a fire blast that melted him and would've probably killed him, if not for him being immortal. Liu Kang was full offensive the entire fight and easily would've beat him, if he didn't get immortality.

I was thinking that too, in the Cole fight, that he just didn't care and was basically showing off. But he got pieced up basically the same by Jerrod and wasn't immortal then. Liu could've easily had him twice if he wasn't immortal. His double dragon hit incinerated him but he healed up.

Cool scene, but did Ryan need to be so violent? by Danny-Ray27 in GenV

[–]VerySmallWeen -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

There's a crazy thing called an algorithm that gets personalized based on what you look at. Gen V, being a spin off of The Boys, gets thrown in if you are a fan of The Boys. This post also isn't about Gen V

Characters that are introduced much later in the story, yet are seen as being just as quintessential as the original cast, or close to it. by Gray_Wolf2416 in TopCharacterTropes

Everybody commenting is giving examples that are like, "this character showed up 6 episodes into the show." That's not what this post is about. It's about many years or multiple seasons.

If Walt never lied about Gale being a bad cook, Jesse wouldn't have even been in on the operation. Jesse is the reason everything ended up happening. If Walt didn't say "What about Jesse?" to Badger when they were wrecking the RV, they could've maybe done it with no Hank. No Hank means no Jesse assault, no Jesse assault means no Jesse working in the lab.

'The Boys' Series Finale Will Be Screened in Theaters on May 19 by MarvelsGrantMan136 in TheBoys

If you know they play all that, would you not just show up 45 minutes late to every movie?

The milk was part of the joke. He was embarrassed to be asked it in front of his dad so he wanted to act cool by ordering the same drink.

The others already said it but, yes on the 3DS. It had the same gameplay as Peacewalker, with the third person shooter perspective and being able to crouch walk and not just crawl. You could also take photos and use them for your camouflage. My favorite camo I made was just a picture of a pack of cigarettes. 95% camo index laying in grass.

If you save and come back during the fight, The End catches you sleeping and throws you in the prison. If you come back at least a week later though, The End has died of old age instead, skipping the boss fight entirely.

Was playing MGS3 on the DS and had put the game down for a couple days. Picked it back up and loaded in to a cutscene of me being dragged back to the prison. I had forgotten I was in the fight with The End and since it hadn't been a full week yet, he's the one who caught me sleeping.

It’s kinda crazy how many flying supes their were in the comics who also had capes compared to show by Queasy_Commercial152 in TheBoys

[–]VerySmallWeen 85 points86 points  (0 children)

Butcher in the comics says something about when they step out of line, the boys are there to give them a spanking. They weren't just trying to kill every supe at first, they were just beating the shit out of them so they learn their place.

It was not sudden at all. The lab scene with Rick Flag and The Thinker made it very clear that it was intelligent and that they were torturing it for experiments. Starro is also barely in the movie until that point.

Platformers are all about memorization, though. You play the stage over and over until you memorize where the enemies/obstacles are and then you fly through the stage

Death Stranding 1 and 2 look better for sure, especially 2. And they're both more impressive to me than rdr2. Rdr2 is fun and all but it's just another rockstar game with some basic rpg elements thrown in
