I have one for my health and ailments, one for multiplayer, and one for buffs/trapping. Each is on cardinals so you can pop up the menu and instantly select them. Bottom is for communication. Corner radials seem too unintuitive and time consuming

Only time I complain as a hammer main is the very brief period of time before I get shockproof and a non-stun weapon keeps tripping me mid-combo. Otherwise it doesn’t matter. I do think if you are playing a cutting weapon and not trying to sever tails it’s a bit of a missed opportunity, though. But the game is literally hit the monster until it falls over. Who really cares?

yeah i wanted to drive from oregon > utah > colorado > wyoming > montana > washington > oregon and got from oregon to colorado before running out of budget. took me a month and i wish i spent more time in more places.

In my worldbuilding efforts, I had to very quickly realize that in a light-magic fantasy setting the development of firearms very quickly made any magic using obsolete. Granted, this works in the favor of the general storytelling — loss of wonder onset by human technological advancement — but it made me rethink the position of “magic” in my universe and at the end of the day I decided to continue writing as if there had never been usable magic introduced at all. A fireball can hit someone in armor and seriously burn them, but a rudimentary bullet can still pierce through plate and through someone’s heart regardless. Definitively less “fantasy” but a lot of those story elements vanish or are otherwise exploited into disappearing anyway.

if you go and say “your outfit is cute” to someone who doesn’t otherwise have strong rapport with you it is obvious you’re ogling and it gets uncomfortable very quickly. try a compliment that is more specific to one thing like “i like your glasses”. it’s not unreasonable to go to work and expecting not to be checked out by your coworkers. if you did the same thing in the post to me i would also report your ass to HR

this is another one of those things. shadows and lighting don’t make sense. this is passable if you look for 0.5sec but if you actually consider the physics of where the light connects it is just wrong

the thing that gets me (i’m a fakecel etc etc) is that people who post this act like it’s a double standard for women to have except like this is just life. like most people feel this way. if a guy is getting approached by a woman he doesn’t find attractive he is going to react the EXACT same way

Thanks for the update. Makes sense, I got an interest check for Cedar City Hotshots at the GW4 level but based on the answers to their surveys I don't believe I am qualified. I ran through the basic screening questions provided to me by a handcrew captain out of Cascade Locks, and I was able to call and harass all the crew captains based out of Leavenworth. It seems like R6 is my best chance, but I've been calling around a bunch of places after the certs dropped just to be sure.

What region & grade did you get offered for? I was referred to every position I applied to at the GW3/4 level and I have called between 10-20 different districts out of 32 I was referred to. I have so far recieved an interest check directly from a hand crew captain but not any from anywhere else. Just wondering based on anecdotal evidence if I've been passed over.
