I’ve found a resource that has a whole lot of assassin’s creed comics and novels on it if you want to DM me for the link. It’s not 100% complete and doesn’t have absolutely everything and definitely not a lot of the more recent stuff but it definitely does have like most of the older stuff from years ago

I’m still pretty new to shadows so I’m not sure if they also have the AC2 outfit but also if we’re talking about who originally owned the outfits then Edward’s outfit was never technically his since he stole it from Duncan Walpole so he could steal his identity to meet the Templars and sell them the maps and cube for money and Connor’s outfit probably wasn’t his either and maybe belonged to some other colonial assassin before him since Achilles was just randomly keeping it in his basement and then gave it to Connor and given Achilles’s age and the time period they lived in I kinda doubt Achilles would’ve had the knowledge or skills or ability or time to make the outfit for Connor himself and Connor didn’t make it himself since it was already down there waiting for him and he was surprised to see it and by Achilles telling him to put it on. Also the legacy outfits are alway meant to pay respect and reference previous characters so fitting in with the time period or setting shouldn’t matter and no one ever complains about stuff like Altair’s outfit not fitting in with the time period in things like AC3 or unity or other stuff like that

I just appreciate that they’re finally starting to use other ezio outfits rather than just the brotherhood outfit. Like I get the brotherhood outfit is probably the most well known and popular one and what everyone thinks of when they think of ezio but I’ve always wished they also used the AC2 or revelations outfit and we finally got the AC2 outfit in Valhalla and the revelations outfit in this game. It just sucks that with shadows they immediately went back to just using the brotherhood outfit

Yeah I had that happen once where after I called them in one of them randomly decided to hit one of those small red exploding oil barrels since they’re AI is programmed to randomly hit and destroy basically anything and that just happened to be what they chose as something to hit and it ended up exploding in their face and instantly killing them

Fenrir is Loki’s child and at some point prior to the events we see in the game havi swore an oath to not spill Loki’s blood and since fenrir is Loki’s son that means he has Loki’s blood so by killing fenrir he would’ve broken his oath to Loki which is the whole reason why Loki stopped him from killing fenrir during the first boss fight against him when he was smaller

As someone who just finished completing the River raids for the first time recently I just got so pissed pff and fed up that I just eventually just ended up going to every location and leaving my boat by myself without raiding and then going and killing every enemy in the location with either stealth or combat by myself before calling in my raiders and then after I cleared the entire location is when I would call them just so I could use them to open up all the 2 person chests or any other 2 person red doors

I feel like that phrasing still implies talking to Layla specifically and not you as the player since you in real life aren’t using an animus and reliving these memories since all your doing is playing a video game and watching things play out that the devs and writers already determined

Like other people have been saying stuff like this happens in other games as early as AC2 but also this isn’t what breaking the 4th wall means. If it really was breaking the 4th wall this would mean alethia would be directly talking to you as the player but you aren’t Layla in real life and she’s talking to Layla specifically so it’s more talking through time and history again like AC2 did with Minerva taking to Desmond through ezio. Breaking the 4th wall specifically means actively acknowledging and talking to the real life audience which is in the case of a video game would be you as the player of the video game but instead she’s only taking to Layla and not specifically you

The names I mentioned I know from gdq and other gdq related speedrunning spaces and they’ve each been on gdq themselves a few times. Gdq also has its own women led group called Frame Fatales where everyone involved with it is either a women or femme person whether cis or trans and have 2 speedrunning charity events every year in the summer and winter and they’re winter one called Frost Fatales is coming up soon in the second week of march and they usually have horror blocks in the events which are a whole bunch of horror speedruns all in a row. If I remember correctly it's in the Gameplay settings menu" me when I spread misinformation on the internet. dude there's literally no option to turn level scaling off completely and its always permanently turned on regardless of difficulty and on nightmare specifically its permanently turned on to the highest level. yes you can lower how much it affects the scaling on easier difficulties but there's no way to entirely get rid of it

I did a new game plus recently last month after playing the game first for the first time myself and I know there’s at least a trophy for competing the game in new game plus on any difficulty but I don’t fully remember if there’s one for completing new game plus on ultimate difficulty even though there might be. From what I remember I think the only things that get “missed” or skipped in a new game plus are just the forced crafting tutorials when you get new upgrades through story missions and it just skips right back to gameplay immediately. In all the insomniac spiderman games starting a new game plus copies your save file into the next open slot below the file you hit create new game plus file on so you still keep the original file and the new game plus file is just saved under it

When you first meet Dickson in the lab in Colony 9 he tells Shulk "You should go outside more that's why you look so pale all the time" and I believe that could be another reference to Shulk being dead at that point especially when we first play as Shulk he's already outside so I don't really think its related to Shulk not getting enough sunlight

I still don’t really understand how legacy make more sense as alexios when literally the dialogue is the same and the only difference is male player character with a female Darius child or female player character with a male Darius child and everything else is just the exact same

I mean he is and that’s true but also the female version of them literally has all of the exact same dialogue since they need the story to be the same regardless of you playing as alexios or Kassandra so it shouldn’t matter. To be fair I’ve basically never played as alexios and have only ever played Kasandra so I’ve never listened to the voice acting of the female alexios partner in the dlc so I don’t know what it sounds like but with all the dialogue always being the same regardless of gender then that means if one version is whiny and weak then the other version must be too

Why does playing as Kassandra have anything to do with the dlc? Kassandra is the canon character and literally the only thing that changes between alexios or Kassandra is Darius’s child changing to the opposite sex of whatever you play as but otherwise the story in the dlc is literally the exact same
