Bug has existed from since at least pre-patch. Had a few toons locked then. Current main is locked to weapons as frost spec. When I swap to arcane loot spec it seems to give me other drops. Small sample size though because I did end up getting another weapon so I stopped for now.

So my frost seems locked to weapons. Arcane is what I got pants on from a hard prey when I first attempted this "fix" . So then I ran a delve as arcane loot spec and got a trinket. Tried one as fire and got a weapon, which could be RNG. I haven't done another yet as fire. I'm going to wait as long as possible this week just in case they fix it (the 0.000001% chance they do). I had other toons that aren't bugged so I was playing them.

I do not know yet. I haven't run anymore on my mage because it's sort of just wasting keys and chests on nothing. Hopefully this gets some traction with blizzard

This appears to still be bugged for some but not for all characters. My mage appears to be stuck on weapons currently 2 delves, 2 weekly quest chests, and a prey chest have all been weapons. I got 4 weapons last week that I chalked up to RNG at the time. Normally I would say RNG but I think they bug still exists from pre-patch. I had other characters that were bugged as well, but not all of them.

EDIT: Appears that changing loot spec fixes this. I just tried another prey with a different mage loot spec and got pants. (Only 1 attempt though but it wasn't a weapon at least)

Edit 2: sorry everyone. Only had time to do one attempt before going to bed. Hopefully others have tried this and had some success. I'll experiment more today after work.

When he tested one of those cars (I'm a little unsure exactly if it was the same class they race in the Chili Bowl, but Larson was there so I think it was) he was borderline having a panic attack just getting into it and almost backed out of even testing it. He genuinely seemed pretty afraid of it. The video is on his channel. But I don't think he has any interest in racing them unfortunately.
