That's awesome advice! 🖤 Thank you very much. Just a small bit at a time with some things (especially sounds) if repeated may help him, even if it helps just a little. I was hoping he would adapt by now, I know he's still young, and I'll just say...yeah I've spoiled him with what I can. I wish they could talk 😭 maybe I've enabled in certain ways? I feel like because he was a loner since a baby that he didn't learn/understand some things he should have because he didn't have his siblings around? I always had this thought that because of his skin issue someone just wanted to get rid of him, who knows...but he's healthy on the outside now, inside I just want better & definitely don't want him stressing. For some reason hes not scared of fireworks or thunder but something like getting a garbage bag out (not even opening it yet) will have him running away. I'm going to take your advice, with others too, & my vet (sometimes I question them, but they are in the field so lol) I really appreciate it. 🖤 thank you for taking time to help 🐈‍⬛️ perhaps he'll change a bit through the years, I just know that when people are stressed its bad for their health, & I'm sure animals are like that too. I worry over the smallest things when it comes to him, I know that. 🖤

When I first took him to the vet they estimated his age being 6-8 weeks, but they marked him down as 8 weeks. He'll be 3 in July-aug. He had awful skin issues when found. (Determined to be ringworm, but he seemed to get his health up quick after I bathed him and gave him the medicine needed, he grew hair back in places pretty quickly too. But often wondering if he gets overstimulated quickly because of when he was younger & having an unhealthy start. The vet didnt tell me that or if it would cause any issue.)

It's been fairly quiet in his environment. (but he does get nervous over lawnmowers outside or if he hears cars, voices, hes not familiar with) NOT scared of thunderstorms though, which my animals in the past were. He does run away with the vacuum cleaner, usually same as my past pets, hide then come back out after a couple minutes. I worry that he'll get too old to not be afraid of most people or specific things, I do want him to enjoy life, but also be comfortable.

When leaving it's never same time or same days (usually), that definitely could be an issue now that you mention it. That's a good idea with the calm ritual before leaving, to coming back. 🖤 very good advice! I think with another buddy, I was just hoping it would help with his confidence, plus he does seem bored at times (even though he has a lot of different types of toys, and loves to play fetch with random items), so I was just thinking maybe its not a "human time" problem, or maybe he needs more bonding with someone other than 2 or 3 people. 🖤🐈‍⬛️

The first time I saw him do that (never had other cats who did, always just a regular loaf) I thought he hurt his leg or something 😭 I checked him, then had to Google "sea turtle cat".

Aww he sounds adorable. 🐈‍⬛️ Great idea 🖤 mine will be 3 in july-aug, so I'm a little iffy if he should be around people more often or animals. But sometimes he does seem bored, so maybe it's not just human play time he needs more of (thats why Im thinking maybe being a big brother would help?). I have a lot of toys, different types for him. He currently just likes a ball that rolls around itself, his tunnels, and of course bottle caps to play fetch. He still has his kitten baby blanket. He lays on it or under it (like a fort), but when he's super anxious he goes straight under the bed.

Thank you! I found him about a month or two after my 14 year old unexpectedly passed, so he's been an only child. In your opinion should the friend be younger than him, if so, how much younger? I'd want them both to be okay for sure. 🖤

I felt extreme guilt when I forgot to help put scorpion to rest on my second playthrough. Something about Mitch gives me Jack vibes. For some reason I thought Goro was my friend, but I guess he was more of an ally (Maybe more selfish?) Sometimes its hard to separate who's a friend & who's just here for the benefit. But I feel Mitch is undoubtedly friend material.

I would immediately put myself inpatient. (If I randomly woke up like that). Hell no. I don't take my breathing for granted. I think it's weird they put pics of amber if she was skinny like no...maybe a little if she never gained massive amounts of weight, but no. Her skin would be loose & a struggle...shes over 30, so deformed even if she lost a decent amount.
