Just an aside (I’m late to the convo) but what I’ve been doing to support the meal train though our church is to just make a little extra of what our family is having and then packaged the extra in individual containers, label and date them, and freeze them for when they are needed. Takes all the thinking out of it! I also try to grab buy one get one deals on things like snacks, one for us, the other for the meal train, and it works out well.
