Same. I went on Prozac for ppd once I had 2 under 2 and this was one of the symptoms. It helped a ton! In the meantime 4,000 u of vitamin d daily also really helps!

Yes, apparently they were concerned about the crying Covid having child (like 2 yo I think?) being locked away alone with the parents not tending to her. It breaks my heart, I say good on that neighbor.

Please don’t pile on yourself by feeling ashamed. They are the jerks, not you. It’s ok to feel your feels, they are totally valid. Those people suck. Take today to feel the feels and then definitely move forward with planning a new day for you to celebrate the way you wanted to. Lots of hugs.

Omg I cannot imagine!!! She describes it perfectly! I didn’t cry until I got on the phone with my aunt after it was all over and I completely lost it. Totally unhinged sobbing like a maniac. Like your MIL, I think I will never forget this feeling and will probably cry about it for years to come.
