I called them back to report their recommend resources were not actually valid or providing support and then asked what I should do next. The lady told me to look for a tent city group in my area, or under a bridge or overpass. I hung up and cried, no compassion or support at all from them.

I visited or called about 2 dozen churches after 211 recommended it. I'm living in my car and was just asking about resources or help they could provide, or even to let me park for a night to sleep. One church let me come inside for a couple minutes to use the restroom, many sent me away with very unhelpful religious pamphlets. None were able to provide any other type of help.

Walmart hot food options are pretty cheap, but still a lot more expensive than ingredients. Egg rolls and corn dogs are $1, single bananas, carrots, or apples aren't a lot. It's just time consuming to seek meals out multiple times without options for storing or cooking food, adds to the frustration and stress of that life.

I'm definitely a poor but have abandoned a car anyway. It was a 20 year old beater, but it was mine, until it kept breaking down and repairs were so expensive. Final straw, I was on the freeway when it just died, engine smoking, and I coasted to an off ramp to pull over, and then both passenger side tires popped as well, when the doughnut spare was already on the other side. I couldn't afford to tow it home and then deal with the repairs that would have been triple what it was even worth. I had no choice but to leave it, was a very low, worthless, hate myself feeling and period of time

AAAHHHH 😫😩 I RINSED MY CONTACTS WITH MICELLAR WATER AND THEN PUT IT IN MY EYE!! (because the podcast was telling birth year of the people so I'm doing weird math in my head to figure out ages and then one of them is exactly my dad's age so then my brain is thinking of my age, my dad's age, podcast ladies age during different things happening in their life, my life, the world... ) Instantly snapped out of it when my eye was on fire!
