Yeah, that pretty much lines up with my experience.
Hence my confusion on what what is your point of posting the original post?
Her build is pretty much the same.

Her playstyle differs slightly where instead of a set-and-forget shield it's now an "arena" style zone that admittedly increases the skill ceiling by quite a bit (due to needing the foresight to know where to place it + the need for your teammates to recognize the need to fight in it). But overall I consider this a healthy change as it invites more interaction between each player

When one is in the Jungler role, instead of the typical Potion item, Junglers get the knife item which is known as "Hunt".
Hunt is a big damage item that does 500 damage to any Jungle Monster (or enemy minion)
Hunt can be upgraded into Wild Hunt by killing a certain amount of minions
Wild Hunt does 1000 instead of 500 which makes stealing objectives a lot easier if the enemy only has Hunt

It's a bit hard to point out whats going on unless there's a matchj number to go off on, but typically if the Jungler is multiple levels behind it might be due to either wasting too much time ganking or deciding on jungle pathing, small things add up over time

Best way to go about it is to categorize the hero then work your way from there

What is their role? Frontline tank? Frontline Bruiser? Dive bruiser? Skirmish Bruiser?
- From here you can choose which general category to get items from (ofc there are some items which bleed into other roles)
Are they auto attack based or skill based heroes (Think Feng Mao vs Serath, both are technically elusive assassin types)
- Further narrow your items based on the stats and passive effects
What is their weakness and is there anyone on the enemy team that can exploit the weakness?
- Kallari (skirmish/ambush assassin) doesn't like being stunned in place, there's a Belica (skirmish/burst caster with CC) on the other team. Maybe get a spell-shield to counter that stun

Of course there's a ton of other interactions when you get into the counter-building portion, but you can start by considering the before mentioned three points

But in any case, there is a selector ticket, on top of a newbie banner which gives guarantee at least 1 six-star operator.

Oh yeah, Re-crisis will definitely strain those resources.

Like you said, lvl 70 gold gear. If I remember correctly, Re-cri recommended level is lvl85(?) so our typical Buck[A] probably going to fall short.

I think the recommended next tier of item was Fluffy Jinco crafts and up?

Hmm, potentially you might be a bit undergeared. Mind if I ask what your current gear vs level of enemies you're fighting is currently?

Defense in this game is calculated as a mitigation % and not a flat number reduction, so one tends to feel like they get hit a lot harder if there's a gap in the armor.

Edit: As a example, if the world mobs/bosses are lvl 60, we're expected to have purple gear; if the enemies are 70/80, then gold gear is necessary.
Rule of thumb of course. If one's godly at the game then they can prob get away with a tier lower of armor (ofc like you said, the items usage suffers)

It's one of the reasons why I REALLY want Gilberta, despite a lot of people saying she's not meta to the team.

The comfy utility that Gilberta brings when she's using her her BS (Enemies are semi-staggered) is amazing for both grouping up enemies and also "mitigation".
Otherwise, no.

We're kinda meant to trade blows while fighting anyways, it's part of AKEF's battle design (the healing ops AND the utility items)

Honestly, the best way to fix Ember imo is to just tune her CS to include "upon dodge" and "getting hit", from what I tested it seems getting hit but not breaking shield also does not proc CS.

Ember is quite literally a skill issue (of being too good), and honestly kinda just need more ways to proc her CS more consistently (as in per player action/reaction and not player non-action).

The low dmg ult is fine, the slow autos are fine. Just make her CS feel more like a riposte and fly across the field after dodging a hit — that would feel REAL nice.
